Water inrush from Karst collapse column has been one of the big disasters that endanger the security of the mining production, so carry out research development characteristic of Karst collapse column and water inrush mechanism that has important significance in mine safety production, optimizing face designs and improving coal recovery rate. Based on the analysis of hydro geological conditions, field observation and test, laboratory experiment, numerical simulation, the thesis adopts theories of material mechanics, elastic mechanics, fractal theory and so on, applies these methods to study comprehensively development characteristic of Karst collapse column and water inrush mechanism in Shuangliu Mine. Analysis and summary are made regarding to precursory information and distribution law of Karst collapse column in Shuangliu Mine, which obtain geophysical characteristics of Karst collapse column, using borehole peeping instrument to observe internal structure of Karst collapse column, using rebound hammer and laboratory experiment to test physical and mechanical parameters of internal collapse materal. Through developing water inrush experiment platform of Karst collapse column, obtain some mechanisms by water inrush experiment. The thesis establishes mathematical model of3D solid-fluid coupling that obtain distribution of seepage field, stress field, plastic failure zone in different water pressure condition and mining influence. And it also establishes the cusp catastrophe model of apex water inrush that obtain expressions for necessary and sufficient condition. Furthermore, according to model mechanism about apex water inrush is analyzed, concluding the main factors influencing water inrush happen, then establish the integrated control techniques of water inrush from Karst collapse column in Shuangliu Mine. The research results was used in Shuangliu Mine, which has achieved remarkable economic benefit.
