Rockburst is one of the serious dynamic disasters in the process of mining. And with theincrease of mining depth, the number of mines which has the hazard of rockburst and the damagedegree are clearly on the rise, which threats the safety production of coal mine seriously. In theoccurring and developing process of rockburst, it is affected by many factors and its mechanismis complicated. It is a difficult scientific problem that should be studied and solved for rockmechanics and mining engineering.Based on the plate tectonics theory, theory analysis, experiment test numerical calculationand other research methods are used to determine the geodynamic conditions of rockburst ofJingxi coalfield by studying the geological structure characteristics and geodynamic environmentof Jingxi coalfield. By means of the geo dynamic divide method, the active blocks of Datai mine,a coal mine belong to Jingxi coalfield, are divided. And the geological structure model whichcombines the plate tectonics with mine engineering is established. The regional stressdistribution is analyzed and the tectonic stress fields are divided. Then, makes sure that Dataimine has the stress condition of occurring rockburst. It establishes the ideal "ball shape"rockburst system, and proposed that rockburst is controlled and affected by system’s energy,analyzed the rock burst critical energy and system scale radius. Then, based on this makes surethat Datai mine has the energy condition of occurring rock burst.On the basis of Datai mine has the geodynamic condition, stress condition and energycondition of occurring rockburst,9geological factors which affect the occurring of rockburst ofthe12th coal seam are analyzed comprehensively. The steeply inclined coal seam rockbursthazard assessment index system is established. The rockburst dangerous zones of the12th coalseam groove are divided. And the regional rockburst prevention method of extract lowerprotective seam is put forward, and the protecting scope and the protecting effect are analyzed.
