The pore space in carbonate media are very complex while strong heterogeneity and dualpore network characteristics exist in microscopic scale, the construction of a reasonablemicroscopic flow theory in carbonate media is very important to improve oil recovery incarbonate reservoir. At first, the construction theory and method of carbonate dual porenetwork is introduced on the basis of digital rock, carbonate gray images of differentresolutions are captured with scanning electron microscope, image segmentation algorithm isused to obtain the corresponding binary images, and macro pore and micro pore digital rocksare constructed to describe the intergranular pore and intragranular pore characteristicsrespectively, the superposition method is proposed to construct carbonate dual pore digitalrock and the corresponding carbonate dual pore network model is extracted. Then, theconstruction theory and method of carbonate dual pore network is introduced on the basis ofnetwork statistical characteristics, macro pore and micro pore network is built to describe theintergranular pore and intragranular pore characteristics respectively, and the structurecharacteristics of pore networks are analyzed statistically, three steps are used to construct thecarbonate dual pore network model including the reconstruction of macro pore network,filling of micro pore network in matrix space of macro pore network, and integration of macropore and micro pore network. At last, based on the research platform of digital rock and porenetwork model, the geometry-topology and flow characteristics of different pore types arecompared in carbonate media, and the algorithm sensitivity and network structure stability areanalyzed during the construction process of dual pore network model, the influence ofnetwork structure and wettability parameters to relative permeability curve during water-oilflooding process in carbonate reservoir are studied in detail. In this dissertation, theconstruction theory and method of carbonate dual pore network model on the basis of digitalrock and network statistical characteristics are formed, and the research platform of carbonatemicroscopic flow theory is built on the basis of carbonate dual pore network model, whichprovides a stable theory and technology guidance for the study of pore space development andmultiphase fluid flow rule the in carbonate media.
