This paper proceeds thorough research on the technologies of thin seam miningfrom the mechanized mining equipment and automated remote control aspects.Throughthe study of fully mechanized mining equipment selection and matching parameters，meeting high yield，high efficiency，safety and reliable production，the paper proposesautomated operation mode of thin seam mining and develops mechanized miningequipment，which could meet certain production capacity， but also be adapt tocomplex production environments with automation and remote control. The paperestablishs a thin seam mining face digitized unmanned surveillance system through theapplied research on key technologies of intelligent control， network transmission，video surveillance and remote communication，which realizes unmanned remote controlon the thin Seam Mining Face basically.The industrial test shows that the study onmechanized mining automation technology in this paper is feasible，safe and effective，which provides a strong guarantee for the further promote and use of thin seam fullymechanized mining automation equipment.
