With the rapid development of China’s mining industry, the number and scale of waste dumps are gradually increasing. In recent years, accidents of waste dump landslide showed frequent trend, causing serious losses of lives and properties. Research on early-warning method of waste dump landslide has important theoretical significance and practical profound influence for the sustainable development of enterprises, social harmony and stability, etc.Based on the analysis of50landslide accident cases of waste dumps at home and abroad in nearly40years, this paper indicates that the main factors of waste dump landslide; on the basis of limit equilibrium principle, using the GeoStudio2007software to model and calculate the stability of Gaocun waste dump. The minimum safety coefficient is1.346, which indicated the stability of Gaocun waste dump is better.Taking into account the time factor of the landslide development, This paper puts forward short-term and mid-and-long term early-warning indicator systems of waste dump landslide in open pit mine, from internal and external influence factors, divides the five warning levels, and gives grading standards and warning principles. According to the characteristics of early-warning indicators, the paper uses the concept of the unascertained rational number to weight short-term indicators, and uses the method of experts scoring based on rough set to weight mid-and-long term indicators.According to the range and weight values of short-term early-warning indicators, this paper established the short-term warning model of waste dump landslide based on the extension theory, determined classical field, value field and evaluated field matter-element models, given the calculation method of correlation function, by the maximum correlation degree and characteristic value of level variables, obtained the landslide warning level. The effect of engineering example application is better.This paper has collected100sets of waste dump landslide accidents, given the mid-and-long term early-warning method of waste dump landslide based on case-based reasoning (CBR), the method uses frames to express cases, combining the RBF neural network and the Euclidean distance to realize the case retrieval, completes case revision and adjustment by users and experts, gives the threshold value of the case study and store. The effect of engineering example application is better.Finally, using Visual Basic6.0program language and Access database design and develop early-warning management system of waste dump landslide in open pit mine with the C/S mode. The software includes user management, data management, case management, early-warning and emergency management five modules; and mainly realizes the short-term and mid-and-long term early-warning function of waste dump landslide; and it has advantages of friendly interface and easy operation. The software makes experiments in Gaocun waste dump, which provides information, intelligent and scientific management platform for enterprise security production.
