The research on groundwater vulnerability will provide us with an effective measure of preventing groundwater pollution and protecting of this resource, which finally solve the problems during groundwater utilization.Based on the current situation and the progress of groundwater vulnerability research, this article has made a full study of the affected factors of groundwater vulnerability of the water type of water–scarce in xiangcheng. And with analysis of groundwater vulnerability, the article, according to the DRASTIC evaluating indicator system, successfully built two vulnerability evaluating systems of unconfined aquifer and confined aquifer in xiangcheng area respectively. The evaluating system of unconfined aquifer is groundwater-table depth, rock attribute of Vadose Zone, the water quantity, coefficient of permeability, Salinity, groundwater exploration and land use. The evaluating system of confined aquifer is the confined aquifer depth, the rock attribute of lining, the depth of lining, the continuity of lining, the Salinity, Hydraulic conductivity coefficient and exploration. Then, every factor is evaluated, the other factors which are not evaluated, are classified. Finally by means of the comprehensive point-rating model based GIS, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluating model and Projection pursuit classification model, the text evaluated the vulnerability. So the results are graded into four different kinds—better, good, middle, bad. At this time, the evaluating map turned out. All the causes of different vulnerability areas are carefully studied. At last, through the comparison of the results got from three methods, the evaluating results are generally identical, which powerfully proved the accuracy and the rationality of this evaluation. By using the software of modflow, the text forecast the variation of flow field and exploration in year 2020 in forecast project. The flow field is the most affected factor, and the vulnerability evaluating is done again in 2020. Partition of different vulnerability grades of the unconfined aquifer and confined aquifer of the researching area is generally based on the research of groundwater vulnerability, which provides important basis for the development and the establishment of various groundwater management and environment protection policies.
