Study On Non-water Reacted Polymer Curtain Grouting For Seepage Control Of Dykes And Dams

Aiming at the actual need of seepage treatment in dykes and dams, using the electromagnetic method detecting the seepage, and using the non-water reacted prepolymer as the grout material, the mechanism and method of polymer curtain grouting are studied, in order to form the new technology method for seepage treatment in this paper. The main contents and results are as follows:(1) On the basis of field test and theoretical analysis, the expansion mechanism of non-water reacted polymer grouting material in sand and gravel and grit is studied. The results show that the diffusion form is relevant to void and grain diameter of medium when polymer material expands in it. It mainly shows that permeating in the large porosity medium and fracturing in the small size medium.(2) Based on the VOF and FVM method, the computing method is developed for flowing filling process of polymer grout in soil narrow long slot, and the influence factors as grout pressure, expansion ratio and gelation time are analyzed. The model test of polymer material flowing filling in soil narrow long flute cast is developed, and the theoretical model of polymer flowing and filling is established, and the method of polymer lifting grouting is put forword, which establishes the foundation for the development of polymer curtain grouting.(3) Based on the diffusion mechanism of polymer material in grit medium and theoey of polymer material flowing and filling in narrow long flute cast, the permeating and filling polymer curtain grouting method is put forward, which develops the new technology of seepage control of dykes and dams.(4) The polymer curtain grouting technology construction method is researched and developed, and is applied to the real dam and dyke reinforcement. Through the observation of seepage flow and flood season, the availability of the non-water reacted polymer curtain grouting technology method is just verified.
