With the development of China’s national economy and economic construction, the application of the retaining wall height has been reached tens of meters from a few meters, even the highest can reach60-70meters. Multistage retaining wall appears in this application circumstances. At present, there have been some actual field test research resulting about reinforcement retaining walls and terraced reinforced retaining walls in domestic and foreign professional journals, for the introduction of multistage gravity retaining walls test content is very few, including its soil pressure, deformation, settlement and stability. Due to some reasons of weather and night, field trials cannot timely and effectively identify roaded subsidence or soil in stress mutation, and in this paper using the application of virual instrument in the issuce you can achieve continuous monitoring process and automation. Based on the actual multistage retaining walls in a highway in Hubei, using the combining method of prototype test, indoor test, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, it has been researched on the multistage retaining walls of soil pressure and deformation, and obtained the following results.(1) Based on Coulomb theory, considering the multistage gravity retaining walls reasonable transfer, it is obtained the soil pressure theoretical computational method of multistage retaining walls;(2) Through comparing the data of the field experiments with theoretical value under different conditions, analyzing the relationship between them, it is found out the interaction influence relationship between all levels retaining wall;(3)The points of application of the resultant earth pressures is mainly between0.4H and0.5H, and will move up a little when one more level retaining wall was built and force increasing. At the same time, the role of the retaining wall on the uniform load distance coping closer to the influence of the retaining wall, the soil pressure point of action then rise, retaining wall is easy to overturn. Therefore, the step width of retaining wall must be considered in the retaining wall design;(4) By building long-term scene monitoring about retaining wall subsidence; It is found that the deformation rule is linked with the loading rate, the subgrade settlement, as well as the nature of the filling by analyzing the deformation distribution of multistage retaining wall;(5)The real-time monitoring system compiled by LABVIEW realizes the real-time monitoring to the multistage retaining walls.For the problem that special climatic conditions and engineering field test data collection cannot be attained, the present paper was prepared using LABVIEW software, real-time monitoring system, development of computer software LABVIEW program, the original signal analysis and the processed data displaying memory to achieve a multi-level real-time monitoring.
