The railway passenger station is a necessity part of railway passenger traffic organization. Itservices to communities and passengers directly, and it plays an important role to the localeconomic development. Therefore, the implementation of informatization, integration andautomation is required urgently in railway station. It is an effective method to improve servicequality and enhence managerial ability. And it is also the key point that the railway enterprise canconsolidate the market position and enhance the market continuously. Although the RailwayTransportation Dispatch and Command System (TDCS) and Ticket Reservation System (TRS)have provided the necessary operation information for railway station, and some railway bureausand staions have built the systems such as Passenger Service System (PSS), EquipmentManagement System and so on, it has the problems such as single function, independentrelatively, low information sharing and poor scalability in current systems. Due to the limitations,it is quite difficult to accommodate the new equipments and technologies, and meet the needs ofthe flexible changing business process. It leads to establish a unified command platformdifficultly. On the premise of making full use of the current resources, the architecture for railwaypassenger station management system (RPSS) is designed and the key technologies are alsodiscussed to meet the requirements for the production guidance management and passengerservice. The former part of this dissertation mainly focuses on the heterogenous integration ofthe existing system in the station and real-time synchronization, especially about how to meet therequirements of business flexibe changes. The latter part of this dissertation mainly focuses onthe application of wireless communication technology, image identification, wireless sensornetwork (WSN) and other techniques in RPSS, especially about how to solve the problems ofclosed-loop activity management, the intelligent control and automatic identification for railwayreal-name ticket verification, the operation environment monitor in railway station, andevaluation the service quality for passengers effectively.(1) Base on the characteristics of the large railway passenger station, it discusses the RPSSrequirements of centralized management, information sharing, real-time synchronization, and reliability in this dissertation. Aiming at the system function domain and business requirement, itanalyzes the business processes of the main modules such as schedule management, activitymanagement, personnel management and so on.(2)On the basis of the requirements, a general RPSS architecture is presented. And thesystem network and interfaces are discussed and the eight function modules are designed in thisdissertation. According to the enterprise service bus (ESB) stucture, the system level architecturemodel based on SOA and workflow is proposed. Considering the system security scheme fully, itcan adapt to the changing business process and acheieve the integration of all the existingheterogenous systems by the defined standard interface in the acrhtitecture.(3) By analyzing the data componnents, a system data integration framework is putforward based on data service bus (DSB), and the implementation technologies are alsodiscussed in this dissertation. Guiding by the event-driven framework, it deduces the messageformat and data transformation model based on XML. In additional, it also designs the webservice wrapper and adaptor in this dissertation. Following this framwork, it solves the problemsof heterogeneous data integration and real-time data synchronization, and decreases the couplingdegree of the system.(4) According to the requirements of the business, the architecture and network aredesigned to the activity management system based on mobile terminal. After researching thewireless location technology, it completes the personnel orientation by the method of mobileterminal location in the system. Then it builds the implementation process and function servicemodel. And it realizes the activity status monitor and closed-loop management.(5) After analyzing the current situation of railway real-name ticket checking, thereal-name verification and ticket checking mode are studied to complete of consistencyverification of face, ticket and identity card. To fullfill the verification task, the face verificationalgorithm using the facial invariant features is proposed in this dissertation. Then it establishesthe function service model. By the workflow engine or metadata configuration, the systemimplementation makes face verification automaticlly. And it achieves the higher accuracyrelatively even in real scene with low image quality, uncontrollable light and angel variation.(6)After researching the application of WSN technology in the railway station, the newgeneration system for environment operating monitor is designed. Then it presents the WSN based Monitoring System for Railway Station Operation Environment (MSROE) architecture. And it also discusses the system network and hardware. Finally the implementation process andfunction service model are established. It solves the problems such as complicated wiring, multiple parameters, difficult to maintain and so on. It improves the system flexibility andextensibility, and guarantees the operation safty in railway station.(7) After analyzing the service quality evaluation research status, the two layered serviceevaluation index system is constructed on the basis of the service characteristics and influencingfactors for high-speed railway passenger station. Adopting the fuzzy evaluation method andrough set theory, the service quality evaluation model for passengers is proposed. Then theimplementation process and function service model are established, and the system is realized. Itavoids the problems of blindness and subjectivity, and achieves a scientific comprehensiveevaluation results. At the same time, it provides a scientific basis for manager decision making.
