The research and development of the large aircraft are the major strategic initiatives for building an innovative country, improving our capacity for independent innovation, promoting industrial restructuring and enhancing the core competitiveness of the country. Customer service has become a higher level of competition compared to the product itself in the civil aircraft industry. The ability and level of customer service of the main manufacturer has become one of the key elements to decide its product market success and commercial success.In this paper, taking the development of large civil aircraft as the background, serving the large aircraft customer service project, the functional requirements, system architecture, implementation and related key technologies of large aircraft health management systems are mainly researched, and provide the necessary theoretical and practical basis for building the suitable health management system of China’s large aircraft.Based on the analysis of health management business needs, following the requirements of APHM system design constraints, reliability / safety / openness / availability and so on, based on C-Care customer service model and features, this paper proposed the overall architecture and implementation plan suitable for China’s large aircraft health management system, completed the overall program design in five areas such as the APHM overall design, the overall design, ground systems, airborne systems, space data transfer mechanism, interface relationships between APHM and other customer service operation support systems. Then from the aircraft, system and component levels,the system architecture and implementation, the needs of the aircraft status information for APHM ground system and the determination methods of monitoring parameters have been analyzed, and based on the characteristics of air-ground data link, the data transmission strategy of condition monitoring has been studied.For line maintenance business requirements, the manual-based fault diagnosis, the case-based reasoning fault diagnosis method and its application in line troubleshooting have been analyzed. Based on in-depth knowledge of the system, the fault diagnosis based on the system principle has been studied, as a basis for building a multi-strategies fusion comprehensive fault diagnosis system to serve a line maintenance.The life prediction method for the maintenance program requirements has been studied. Based on the performance reliability theory, the LS-SVM method is introduced to the performance degradation prediction model to solve the life prediction problem for some of the high reliability subsystem of the large aircraft under few failures or even zero failures conditions;While for the case of only a small amount of fault data, considering that the LS-SVM method has good generalization performance in a small sample prediction, the LS-SVM method is introduced to the weibull life distribution parameter prediction model to obtain the average life in the case of small samples; For the case of both monitoring information and a small amount of fault data, considering the combination of the two models, a composition predicted life has been obtained; Finally, an example is validated, the method provides the technical foundation for the large aircraft effective health management.For our self-developed aircraft, the lack of appropriate health management system, on the basis of previous studies,the paper has constructed a large aircraft health management system, studied the main function design and implementation of the system, and conducted the functional application preliminary verification of the system architecture in the actual use environment of Xiamen Airlines, confirmed the rationality and advancement of the large aircraft health management system overall architecture design.The purpose of this study is to serve the large aircraft customer service engineering. The functional requirements, system architecture, implementation and related key technologies of large aircraft health management systems are mainly researched, and the research results provide the necessary theoretical and practical reference for establishing the suitable health management system of China’s large aircraft.
