The main character of Chinese Industrial Seedling Nursery are variety ofseedling species, differency in crops cultivation season and difficulty inevaluating seedling cultivation cost. As a result, the key points in optimizingindustrial seedling nursery are balance seeling productivity, quality and elevateoverall profit for seedling production.Under the circumstance of complicated,variable and fiercely competitive market, seedling nurseryfactory has to face thepressure of shorten crops delivery time andincreasedseedling nursery costs. Thus,urgent request was raised by the optimized production and operationmanagement theory and method for industrial seedling nursery system. However,due to the character of multi-plant with distributed positions production, thecomplexity of the crops production, seasonal fluctuation, and diverse optimizedobjectives, on one hand,traditional theory for crop cultivation management andoptimized technology cannot meet the traditional requirement of large scale application and industrialization, on the other hand, traditional factorymanagement theory and optimization method cannot be directly used in theindustrial seedling nursery system.In order to solve the problem mentioned above, focus on the natural cropscultivation characters and industrial seedling nursery system actual performance,the article focused on the problem of production and operation in seedlingnursery plant to realize whole performance of seedling nursery systemimprovement.Seedling sales forecast, production plan computation method andkey production machine scheduling algorithm were taken as the research points.Detailed description of these researches can be concluded as follows:(1) Sales volumes forecast for industrial seedling nursery system. Salesforecast model was lacked in industrial seedling nursery system, because thesales volume are easily influenced by finite producton capacities and vibratedrequirement of outside market which lead to the crops sales volume are difficultto forecast.Thus, the finite producton capacities were mainly concerned in thisarticle. The main objective is to realize accurate seedling sales forecast.A hybridmethod called support vector machine and time series method were combinedtogether to forecast sales volume for agriculture crops. The result of thecomparison experiment shows that the suggested method can effectivelyimprove the forecast accuracy. Based on the result of industrial seedling nurserysystem sales forecast, a solid basis can be offered to prepare for theindustrial seedling nursery system production plan.(2) Production plan optimization for industrial seedling nursery system.The main problem in the industrial seedling nursery system is the lackage inlong term production plan, poor performance in production plan preparation, andlow efficiency in material requirement plan. Focus on this problem and theactual performance of the seedling nursery system, the whole production planproblem can be divided into long term producton plan, yearly production plan,and material requirement plan. The main performance is to maximum thefactory’s output and satisfies customer’s needs. In relation to the industrialseedling nursery system has the character of multi-plant with distributedlocations and there is no supply-requirement relationship between each plant, byanalyzing the multi-constraints, unclear, complexity and dynamics characters ofthe industrial seedling nursery system, a mathematical programming model forproduction plan was simplified for describing the problem of multi-plantproduction plan. In addition, a route reconnection solving algorithm was usedfor solving this suggested model. Case study shows that the suggested modelcan effectively realize the production plan optimization for the industrialseedling nursery system.(3) Key cultivation centers scheduling for the industrial seedling nursery system. The actual scheduling method used in industrial seedlingnurserysystem is heuristic method. The disadvantage for this method often leadsto blockage problem in industrial seedling nursery system because of cropsculitivaton process is easily to be influenced by weather conditions and badtemperature. In order to effectively solve this problem, focuses on the characterof single bottleneckFlow-shop problem in the industrial seedling nursery system,an optimized bottleneck decomposition method was suggested. By bottleneckidentification, the whole production line can be divided into forwardnon-bottleneck machine, bottleneck machine and backward non-bottleneckmachine. The whole scheduling problem can be solved by combine thebottleneck machine and non-bottleneck machine scheduling together. Thescheduling result can be obtained by solving this simplified problem. Accordingto the scheduling result, forward non-bottleneck machine can be scheduled frombackward to forward according to bottleneck machine job start time by usingheuristic dispatch rule. Backward non-bottleneck machine can be scheduledfrom forward to backward according to bottleneck machine job finishing timeby using heuristic algorithm. It can be verified that the best optimizedscheduling mechanism is the result which can meet this suggested schedulingalgorithm. The suggested optimized bottleneck decomposition schedulingmethod was applied to an industrial seedling nursery system and it can be verified to obtain better solution efficiency.(4) QACCP theory’s application in the actual industrial seedlingnursery system. The method used in crops cultivation process is traditionalman-made cultivation methods. The disadvantage for this problem not only liesin the shortage in scientific management which will lead to poor ensurance incrops quality and quantity, but also lead to poor performance in large-scale andindustrialization. In order to realize the transmission between traditional cropscultivation to large-scale and industrialization, QACCP theory was introduced toapply in the whole process of industrial seedling nursery system. Some keypoints in the whole industrial seedling nursery system were attached greatimportance in this article. Based on optimized methods in each point, the wholeperformance for the industrial seedling nursery system can be realized. Finally,the suggested method was actually applied in the actual crop cultivation factory.The main contributions in this article can be concluded as follows: thesuggested salse forecast model can effectively improve the performance ofindustrial seedling nursery sales activity to6.3percent. The proposed productionplan system can realize the automatic calculation for long term plan, yearlyproduction plan, and material requirement plan.Performance of the proposedscheduling method for the industrial seedling system can effectively improve thewhole scheduling efficiency by actual application in Yuanyi seedling Nursery Company.The main work in this article can greatly improve the production flow andworking efficiencyfor industrial seedling nursery system. The research result inthis article can suggest several novelty theory and technology to the seedlingnursery plant and it can be used to make up the blank for the management theoryand technology in Chinese seeds nursery system.
