Research Of The Academic Thought And Clinical Application Of Qiu Jiating’s Director Of TCM Spleen And Stomach

Based on the origin of development about spleen stomach theory, relevant information concerning clinical medicine, medical cases and some works with regard to the elaboration on spleen and stomach theory of the ancient physicians has been collected and analyzed systematically according to a certain logic and law to illustrate the academic thoughts of Qiu Jiating all-round, a chief physician in traditional Chinese medicine.In the process of clinical practice with chief physician Qiu Jiating, I found that professor Qiu Jiating not only attaches great importance to the treatment of spleen and stomach diseases as well as many difficult medical diseases and prescription. By collecting clinical data, systematically analyzing the typical medical cases and clinical practice, extensively reading ancient and modern literature at home and abroad and finally combined with my tutor’s clinical experience and prescription rules, clinical experience, speculative characteristics and academic thoughts concerning the treatment of spleen and stomach diseases have been classified systematically.The first part of the thesis is a systematic review of the theory and research on spleen and stomach from the perspective of the traditional medicine. The main contents and the major viewpoints of the traditional spleen and stomach theory have been presented from its origin, formation and evolution.The second part of the thesis focuses on the modern research of the spleen and stomach theory to reveal the essence about spleen stomach damp heat syndrome and spleen deficiency syndrome.The third part of the thesis is to explore and summarize the contents of Qiu Jiating’s theory of the spleen and stomach. Professor Qiu Jiating’s academic thoughts were comprehensively summarized from the aspects of syndrome dialectics, legislation, prescription and health care etc. on the basis of three years’ clinical practice and instruction with Professor Qiu Jiating.The main contents can be summarized as follows:(1) attach importance to the physiological and pathological characteristics of the spleen and stomach diseases. (2) take into account the relationship between the spleen and stomach and other organs. (3) pay more attention to the dialectics of the spleen and stomach diseases. (4) determine the four principles of spleen and stomach treatment, namely, warm, clear, attack and nourish. (5) pay attention to protect the stomach. (6) pay attention to the adjustment of gas lift. (7) pay attention to the combination of disease and syndrome. (8) regulate emotions and recuperate diet. (9) prescribe effective drugs and improve efficacy.The fourth part is the study on clinical application of Qiu Jiating’s academic thoughts of the spleen and stomach. The experience of diagnosis and treatment and medication characteristics were analyzed and summarized respectively in gastro esophageal anti reflux disease, functional dyspepsia, ulcer colitis, diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome, acute upper digestive tract hemorrhage, chronic atrophic gastritis and carcinoma of large intestine.The fifth part is the specific application of Professor Qiu Jiating’s spleen and stomach academic thoughts in clinical practice...
