For now, Ziwnger, Germany is the biggest porcelain special museum in Europe. It now has more than42,000pieces of Chinese porcelains during the past dynasties, over24,100of which were made in the Ming and Qing dynasties and most of which belong to the royal collection of Augustus Ⅱ, King of Poland,that is Stronger Augustus, who was in power in Saxon dukedom from1670to1733and to his son, Augustus Ⅲ. These invaluable Chinese export porcelains are material evidences of business and trade activities between China and European countries and of Sino-west art communications during the reigns of the Qing emperors Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong.This article’s study objects are porcelain collections of Augustus Ⅱ from Jingdezhen kiln, Zhangzhou kiln, Dehua kiln, Guangzhou kiln, Chaozhou kiln and Yixing kiln run in late Ming dynasty and early Qing dynasty. With the help of heraldry, science of art and culture, the comparative method of typology, the article discusses the art characteristics of Chinese export porcelains step by step by exploring the collections, representative characteristics of Chinese porcelains, decoration patterns and their genres. On this basis, from the perspective of cultural embryology and sociology, it analyzes the connections between Chinese export porcelains and Sinomania in the Europe and their influence on architectural decoration and art style changes in the West in the18th century. It also connects their style and asthetic changes with the Enlightenment in the18th century by explaining how the Enlightenment thoughts influenced Chinese export porcelains, which reveals the profound cultural implication between Rococo art and Chinese export porcelains and then provides theories and evidences for the studies of Sino-West art communications from the17th century to the18th century.On the basis of the former studies, there are some new attempts in the three aspects as follows:First, with the help of heraldry and analysis methods of decoration forms of typology, the article uses collection classification and then establishes associated holography and databases; Second, through the collection checklist and manuscript from1721to1727and the24,100pieces of Chinese export porcelains in the early Qing dynasty in Ziwnger, the article initially defines the crafts and schools of Chinese porcelain during the17th century and18th century, filling the gaps in this field of study and promotes the studies of Chinese export porcelains from the Qing dynasty. Third, in this article, there is a comprehensive evaluation about the porcelain collections of Augustus Ⅱ, which observes art forms in culture and reflects diversity of art communications between the East and West in the European Enlightenment Age during the17th century and18th century through different art characteristics.
