Parody is an important concept from ancient western literary theory, it wasoriginally a linguistic rhetoric. Modern times, since the reference and use of ModernArt rhetorical method, parody is to introduce the field of fiction, poetry and literarycreation gradually from a local skills development as a mature literary style. Parodyusually refers to writers, artists in the creation of deliberate imitation of the existingmode of discourse, the classic mode, literary paradigm, placing it unfit or oppositecontext to imitate objects ironically, misinterpreted or subversive purposes.There is noparody theory of our country, there are some similar technique of artistic creationexamples in classical poetry and article. The modern literature novel has some tracesof parody. Since the New Period, parody alien thought and common role and influenceof the local context of renewed vigor, especially at the turn of the1980s and1990ssocial and cultural transition period is very active. Parody once embodies theaspirations of the the pioneering literature "pure literature", to challenge theideological and literary conventions, rebel attitude.A parody of the1990s literary worldinto a "cluster" development trend, the diverse smells parody "grand scene" to makecompromises and concessions, and when hit in the tide of popular culture, graduallybeing commercial and consumer society cultural incorporation. Parody in differenthistorical periods,showing the different forms of melodies,corresponding to thedifferent cultural ideology.The paper examines the New Period parody phenomenon in literature, linguistics,narratology, cultural studies, a comprehensive study, while paying attention to thetheoretical interpretation and text analysis combined aesthetic criticism, with the valueof examining the same into account, since the new era of literature andthe parody of the cultural phenomenon of the study and evaluation of the overall system. This paperstudies the basic ideas follow from the language level to the text narrative level andthen to the level of cultural analysis system path.In the introduction, firstly, parody concept and related theory a diachronicdescription and analysis. On this basis, the paper defines the essence of parody is astylistic phenomenon, including the order of discourse, text style, writers mainrecipient for its historical and cultural field and many other factors. Secondly, followedby brief explanation from a genetic point of parody evolved in the West and China, thepaper pointed out the inherent characteristics of parody and external manifestations.Finally, make a brief analysis of the research status, pointed out the problems andshortcomings in the study and presented the main ideas and thesis framework.The first chapter discusses the origins and generalization parody since thebeginning of the New Period, the problem is precisely the researchers ignored.Theresearch on the parody phenomenon in recent years is quite plentiful, in the parody ofthe "historical" process, better educated, conceptualization trend, in order to avoid thejudgment of the nature of parody phenomenon, we should from the historical contextto start to discuss the source of the New Period parody phenomenon, and to grasp itsgeneralization historical trajectory in a dynamic process of history.
