Mongolians view of worshiping of spirit banner has been developed profoundly from ancient times. It can be seen integrally based on the ancient descriptions of cliff paintings, rare and unusual findings of history and archaeology, chronicle facts and archive documents. Therefore we intensively searched the deep meaning of the 2 different words of spirit (sulde) and banner (tuy) as well as made observations and analyses comparing the uniqueness of tradition and modernization of the three triumph emblems.Nowadays as the applied scientific researches has constantly developing in the historiography of Mongolian, I aimed to show aggregately that the origin, the tradition and the meaning of symbolization of worshiping of spirit banner from ancient till today as well as how it came through all the way.The context of this research work has consisted of 3 main chapters. Here, in the first chapter, meanwhile doing researches on cultural tradition of Spirit Banner of Mongols, I analyzed the meaning of the words spirit (sulde) and banner (tuγ) and the differences of the names of tug, hiar, dartsag and dalbaa. In the advanced research its connection to the applied science and the tribes of "tuychin" literally means "one who is in charge of banner", "Suldten" which means "one who is in charge of spirit banner" were analyzed. In the second chapter, about the origin which based on the description of cliff paintings of Mongolian flag and emblems is remarked and my attempts to precise the origin which is traced down from the most ancient emblem of worshiping sky which is the highest value of spirit banner. An interesting fact can be seen here that there was an attempt which took place to move the Black Banner from Inner Mongolia to Outer Mongolia in the early 20th century. Furthermore in the research work I tried to clarify the exact reason of that historic event using the archive documents of Mongolia and Inner Mongolia. In the 3rd chapter, the researches of comparison on tradition and modernization of flag spirit banner of Mongolia were completed and renewed the development of research trend of emblem by precising the connection and ties between the symbolization meaning of the white, black and pinto banners and Soyombo as the national emblem of modern Mongolia. Furthermore, we did an in-depth research on the issues of the penetration of Tibetan buddism after Qing dynasty and the alienation of the traditional worshiping of spirit banner under the influences of the ideology of the modern political regimes. Therefore some considerations to restore the traditions of the statehood were put forward. But I emphasize that the aims of this research work were not focused on explaining and studying of creating spirit banner, its design, formation, custom and ceremonial customs since all of them were undertaken on researches already.
