Banner system is the basic policy in Mongolia for Manchu government. Mongolia banners are divided by "rivers, oboo or the mountains" as the boundaries. The unclear way to divide the boundaries is a huge hidden trouble sometimes. During the Qing Dynasty, the boundary of Dalad Banner and that of Turned Banner are divided by Yellow River. However, because of Yellow River, these two banners have dispute on boundary. In this thesis, boundary disputes between Dalad Bannner and Turned Banner are analyzed in detail, on the basis of which the author tries to show changes of traditional society of Mongolian banner at the specific historical background. The thesis is composed of Introduction and body. Introduction includes purpose and significant of the thesis, status quo, research method and innovation of the thesis. Body of the thesis consists of three chapters. Chapter One briefly introduces the fuzzy situation to the boundary for two banners caused by the Yellow River; Chapter Two describes divide of detail boundary situation by the general of Suiyuan City and vice commander-in-chief of Guihua Citi; Chapter Three describes the "divide of four-six"way to solve a land dispute between Dalad Banner and Turned Banner and its causes and effects...
