The Aesthetic Study On Micro-documentary

With the arrival of the new media era, the documentary creation and dissemination environment is changing.Film and television creative technical threshold is reduced, it is becoming possible to create the documentary for non-professionals. The strong desire on the expression of individual words prompts the documentary form to diversification. In the contemporary aesthetic activities, a new kind of Aesthetic taste--micro aesthetic is gradually formed. Micro aesthetic taste and documentary present creation combine to form a new art form-micro-documentary. What is the micro-documentary? What is this art form and aesthetic quality? Research on micro-documentary aesthetic helps us to more in-depth understanding about this aesthetic phenomenon, thereby opening the research on micro aesthetic which has the characteristics of the times.We first study on micro-documentary with historical and logical analysis, and then on the following definition:Micro documentary is a kind of short time、simple style、taste exquisite, profound implication video art, which is based on digital technology, television and new media as platform, creative process with the video material of objective facts, pursue the sense of reality.This concept involves two core elements of micro-documentary:the true and micro.In the first chapter, we first study the first elements:verity. Micro-documentary is true art, and unity of the true, the good and the beautiful is the final realization of the value of micro-documentary aesthetic. This micro-documentary true beauty is realized by the artistic expression. Micro-documentary is a kind of narrative art, is also a kind of cinematic narrative art. It is through the audio-visual narrative methods, micro-documentary realize the presentation of the true.In the second chapter, we study the second elements:micro. First, we analyzed the micro context of the emergence of micro-documentary. The emergence of digital technology, the development of micro media communication, visual culture has gradually become dominant, as well as documentary own law of development and other factors led to the emergence of micro-documentary. So the "micro"of micro-documentary is what meaning?"Micro" is not only a description of the state, is also a kind of aesthetic category, it shows a kind of aesthetic taste of modern people. The "micro" of micro-documentary is composed of short time, micro subject, micro perspective, the individual and other factors together. Of course, this also makes the micro-documentary’s audio-visual expression showing new characteristics.After the analysis on these two characteristics of micro-documentary, we conducted a research on the types of micro documentary film as a new art form in the third chapter. We divide the type and style of the micro-documentaries by using the method of combining empirical induction and logical deduction.After we were ontological analysis on micro documentary, in the face of creative practice of micro documentary and many problems, we need to ask how far the micro-documentary can go? How can micro-documentaries healthy and sustainable development? This involves the further understanding on "micro" of micro-documentary.In the fourth chapter, we proposed an aesthetic principles of "micro and exquisite", namely the problem of refinement of the micro-documentary creation.The feasibility of micro-documentary’s refinement we mainly discusses the path of artistic conception.Earlier we study micro-documentary mainly from the perspective of the creation, and the creation of micro-documentary is inseparable from the aesthetic accept acceptance. Only after the audience appreciation, the aesthetic value of micro-documentary can be finally realized. In the fifth chapter, we analyze micro-documentary aesthetic appreciation is not a simple creation and appreciation counterpoint analysis research, but the research on an important theory problem, namely the aesthetic taste of casting problem.If there is no exquisite aesthetic taste, people cannot properly, correctly to the appreciation of the micro-documentary. And in a broader sense, this is not only an aesthetic casting problem but also a problem of public cultural construction.Only in benign public culture atmosphere, casting a new aesthetic taste, the development of micro-documentary’s refinement take longer and farther.In the sixth chapter, we start the extended analysis from the perspective of popular culture about micro-documentary. Micro-documentary is not only true art but also micro art, is more exquisite art, of course, it is also a cultural sketch. In this chapter, we mainly analyze how micro-documentary can balance between the exquisite and popular as a cultural sketch in the consumption society in which popular culture occupy the mainstream.Through the above several parts, we conducted a comprehensive aesthetic analysis on micro-documentary. Aesthetics analysis of micro-documentary is a key to open the door of the contemporary micro aesthetic. For micro aesthetic research, this is just a starting point.
