The writer Mo Yan receives more attention from the world literature after awarded noble’s Literature Prize, which set off “Mo Yan heat” among the literature world. What is more, numerous sounds clamor Under the theory studies about Mo Yan’s novel. However, most opinions are scattered, fragmented or sectional, and even some critics still use the term of "Magic Realism ”to read Mo Yan’s writing style,which lack of overall thinking and carding on Mo Yan’s Novels. Mo Yan’s early novels are indeed affected by Western modernist, then inspired by oriental culture of Japan, indida and other eastern countries, and they begin to consciously close to traditions and folks. However, he doesn’t mean to give up the Western Modernist and retreat to chinese folk local cultures but to fully absorb, learn, inheritate even overcome the estern and western cultures in order to achieve his literary peak. In other words, he is saying from his own loom in the position of local or named national position to absorb the essence of Western literature, completed double transcendence over eastern and western cultures. Mo yan has thus accomplished the meaning of world history of literature, and eventually become the elf converging of eastern and western cultures.This article attempts to reflect Mo Yan’s writing integrally under the perspective of western and eastern cultures with the principles of life reflection, close reading, archetypal criticism, narratology, western modernism and eastern studies, etc to analyze the ideological content behind his writing and interpret the ideas and positions for Mo Yan’s writings follow.
