Astudy On Life Science & Technology Overtaking Life Rights

The application of human genome engineering, clone technology, transplantation, stem cell transplantation and the kind has brought a plenty of good news to people, enabling many difficult and miscellaneous diseases to be overcome and many lives to be saved, making people more healthy and life more beautiful. However, while life science and technology brings about great achievements, it produces bad results as well due to the human being’s immoderate desires and uncontrolled exploration and research into life mystery, such as eugenics, reproductive clone, illegal organ trade, illegal obtaining of embryonic stem cells, etc. On the one hand, the power of life science and technology make it possible for people to enjoy more beautiful life, on the other hand, it overtakes life rights, making human beings the subjects to be controlled by technology. As a result, the human beings’naturalness is destroyed and its dignity gradually perishes. To prevent life science and technology from developing uncontrollably, bioethics came into being to control the Pandora of Life Science and Technology, aiming at the most possible harmonious coexistence and mutual promotion of life rights and life science and technology, and a more beautiful life for human beings.The standpoint and research method is based on knowledge and understanding of research achievements made at home and abroad. The key research point of this dissertation is how to look at life science & technology overtaking life rights from the viewpoint of bioethics, what kind of relation between them and how to deal with the overtake. This dissertation started with a general description of the connotation, characteristics and development of life science & technology. Based on the bioethical analysis, the author argues that it is a necessary and inherent contradiction that life science & technology overtake life rights, but whether this overtake results only from life science & technology is worth doing further analysis and research. Furthermore, bioethical analysis is done to the life science & technology taking over life rights respectively from the five aspects of human genome, assisted productive technology, clone & stem cell technology, organ transplantation, euthanasia and artificial feeding.With the introduction of life science & technology’s basic concepts, status and influence together with cases, a study is conducted on the overtake from the viewpoint of bioethics, and thus a detailed analysis is achieved on life rights from birth to death. And we will have a clear picture of the benefits brought about by life science & technology and its taking over life rights, so that we will have a clearer, deeper and more diversified understanding of the overtake and the way to deal with it.Again, this dissertation tends to look at the overtake from the viewpoint of deonotology and consequentialism and explore the nature and significance of the appropriate overtake in the light of dialectical thought of Marxist bioethics so as to provide more theoretical and practical support. The principle of goodness, beauty, respect, impartiality and equity is a good one guiding appropriate overtake, which neither suppresses the development of life science & technology nor infringes too much life rights.Finally, the significance of bioethics guiding the practice involves different aspects of life. Education programs make people able to understand and participate in appropriate overtake related activities, laws will protect appropriate overtake, and life education will make the next generation more beautiful. Only in this way, can appropriate overtake be realized, can harmonious development between life science & technology and life rights be possible, can life rights be protected.The conclusion is that it is unavoidable that the development of life science & technology overtaking life rights and the appropriate overtake is a way to achieve a dynamic balance between the two. That is to say, we need to look at and deal with life science & technology’s overtaking life rights from a developmental viewpoint.
