Establishment Of Theoretical System Of The Field Of Play And Influence On The Field Of Play To Competitive Ability Of Athletes

Sports competition is the most representative of the field and the most dynamicpart of sports is the core areas of sports behavior chain. The field of play that isabbreviation for FOP is the space and place condition of sports competition, it has animportant position in the sports competition. Multiple subjects have been involved inthe research field of FOP, these subjects including sports architecture, materials science,environmental science, design of landscape and art, etc.By using literature, interviews, historical analysis, and questionnaire method, thepaper research FOP from the sports science, established a theoretical system of FOPincluding the essence theory of FOP, the composition theory of FOP, the developmenttheory of FOP, the competitive theory of FOP and the construction theory of FOP.Combined with multi-disciplinary knowledge, the paper summarized the essence,classification, characteristics, and elements of FOP, discussed the course, the power andthe trend of development of the FOP, interpreted the competitive significance and valueof the elements of FOP, researched the close relationship of FOP and constituteelements of sports, revealed the events group characteristics of FOP, discussed issuesrelated to FOP construction process. Theoretical system of FOP enriched the study ofthe sports science, reflecting the value of the theoretical innovation of new thinking.The conclusions of the paper include the following points.(1) FOP is the space and place when specific personnel to participate in sportscompetitions. The theoretical system of FOP is constituted by five sub-theories,including the essence theory of FOP, the composition theory of FOP, the developmenttheory of FOP, the competitive theory of FOP and the construction theory of FOP.(2) FOP has characteristics that are natural, technical, artistic, cultural. According to different classification criteria, the FOP will be divided into different categories.(3) According to the material conditions of FOP and the level of sports civilization,FOP is divided into six stages: the original stage (the ancient Olympic Games began toAD470),the interrupt stage (about AD470years to the European Enlightenmentmovement), the natural stage (European Enlightenment movement to1896), thededicated stage (1896to the end of World War II), the professional stage (after WorldWar II to the1990s), the ecological stage (since the1990s). FOP as a whole and each ofelements emerged the stage characteristics.(4) The main driving force of development of FOP stem from development ofsports, economy, culture, and science and technology. The overall direction of FOPembodied in four aspects that are the functional, technical, artistic, and environmentalprotection. The paper predicts the specific direction and trends of development ofelements of FOP.(5) FOP is made up of six elements that are the shape, scale, texture, color, pattern,and environment. Six elements of FOP have respective content, and have different valueof competition. Six elements of FOP have different degrees impact to athlete ability andathlete performance.(6)The construction and changes of FOP to the composition and development ofthe competitive ability of the athlete and the performance of athletes in competitionhave an important impact. Participants of competition should take full account of thecharacteristics and limitations of FOP, developing physical fitness, technical ability,tactical ability, mental ability and knowledge capacity, and successfully perform theircompetitive ability in specifications and rule of FOP.(7)The new division on the playing area of the FOP will directly bring newtechnique. Changes in shape and scale elements of FOP affect the application offenseand defense technology of athletic. The rational utilization of the overall shape of FOPis “tactics of FOP”. The modern design of shape element of FOP is enable athletes togive full play to skills, improving athletic performance. The influence of different laneof FOP to athlete performance is disputed.(8)The scale element of FOP can affect the overall sports technology and the difficulty of single movement. Change in scale element of FOP affect athletes on theoffensive and defensive techniques and tactics. Precision and standardization of scalemeasurement in some events led to the generation of World Records. Considering thehealth and safety of athletes, some endurance events setting or define different thedistance of FOP.(9)The texture element of FOP affects the structure of technical movements of theathletes. Different texture of FOP forms different technical and tactical play or style.The improvement in texture of FOP helps athletes to perform, and to improveathletic performance. The different texture of FOP produces different extent andlocation of sports injuries.(10)The natural environment of FOP has some impact to athletic performance inoutdoors events, which important environmental conditions are altitude, weather andwater temperature. In order to protect the safety of the athletes, some outdoor eventslimited the natural environmental conditions during competitions, and have relatedsafety precautions. The suitable artificial environment of FOP profits competitive abilityof athletes to perform, to improve athletic performance.(11)The foundation documents of construction of FOP refer files that werepromulgated by the international federation of the sports event and other internationalsports organizations. Depending on its contents, it can be divided into two categories:rules of FOP and technical standards and standardized documents of FOP.(12)The aesthetics of FOP is all kinds of psychological feelings of aesthetic to FOP,including FOP aesthetic subject, the aesthetic object and aesthetic relationships. Thecontent of the aesthetic of FOP include beauty of form, natural beauty and artisticbeauty. The essence of aesthetic of FOP shows in the practical, technical and artisticaspects. The aesthetics of the FOP has characteristics of spatial, visual, era, nationalityetc.(13)The design of FOP is the overall program that is carefully planned, conceivedand developed by designer before construction and set of FOP, according to thecorresponding project technical manuals and corresponding disciplines. The design ofFOP includes geometrical shape design of the FOP, art design of the FOP, circuit design of the FOP, site design of the FOP. The design principles of FOP include the principle ofstandardized design, the principle of personalized design, the principle of humanedesign, the principle of artistic design, the principle of harmonious design. The basiccontents of design of FOP are the six elements of FOP.
