Although curling is a sport full of contingency, the inevitability will be hidden behind possibility. In the processing of critical end or critical shot, Chinese team has lost more games in spite of mistakes made on both sides. Even in the case of leading previously, the victory is unexpectedly switched to the rival in the end. Apart from the insignificant factors of individual position switch, increasing rival power and personnel adjustment, the main cause, indicated through coaches and athletes’feedback, video game, and strategic evaluation analysis, lies in the inappropriate strategy and inadequate experience against world strong teams. Accordingly, it is the key factor that hinders the pace of Chinese women’s team towards the world’s top. The study deals with curling competitive strategy, aimed at promoting the competitive strategic level, enriching curling strategic theory, and offering theoretical support for a greater breakthrough in the international competitive curling.The paper takes curling competitive strategy as the research subject; applies the methods of literature, expert interview, questionnaire, video analysis, comparison analysis and case study; bases on the military strategic theory, sports training strategic theory and Sun Tzu’s theory. It initially establishes the theoretical system of curling competitive strategy to testify the rationality of tactical specifications of Chinese women’s curling team. Through tactical statistics index, the paper also assesses the offense and defense tactical competence of participating teams including Chinese so as to further explore the factors accounting for the strategic defeat of Chinese women’s curling team and then come up with the countermeasures.The research content is as follows:The thesis paper is divided into four parts as follows:Part 1 briefly describes the research’s background, significance, objective, literature review, and overall planning. Part 4 comes to a conclusion by offering countermeasures to the problems.The main conclusions-. 1.
