As a new form generating from mid-term of 20 century, ecological ethics focusing harmonious development between human and nature, is expansion and extension of traditional interpersonal moral, is symbol of civilization progress made by human being. The 18th China’s communist party congress proposes to construct socialist ecological civilization, which requires more Socialist builders and successors with high-quality of ecological ethics. Due to professional features, the geoscientific university student is required to take more responsibility of ecological ethics, as well as ecological ethics education. In order to improve ecological ethics of the geoscientific University student, we should carry out deep and systematic research of ecological ethics education, and construct a well-being education content system, and explore effective education approach.The topic of the dissertation is ecological ethics education, and educational object is the geoscientific university student. The paper tries to answer the basic questions of why, what and how to educate ecological ethics for the geoscientific university student. Follow the mentality of question raising-analyzing- problem-solving, the paper takes research methodologies as dialectical materialism and historical materialism, document research and questionnaire survey, to research the basic content, significance, current condition, theoretical basis, teaching approaches of ecological ethics education for the geoscientific university student in a full, deep and systematic way.The first chapter is instruction part. First discuss the selected topic reason and research significance. The paper thinks there are two significance of ecological ethics education for the geoscientific university student. The first is theoretical one, which relies to build up system of ecological ethics education including basic conception, important meaning, theoretical basis, major content and approaches, provides deep and systematic theoretic material, and affords proper arrangement of mixture research approach for the coming research.The second is practical significance. The exploration of ecological ethics education system of content and approach will provide guidance and suggestion for education practice of the geoscientific university student. Especially through digging out education resource of ecological ethics, the paper seeks out deep mixture of ecological ethics and geoscientific education. The chapter states comprehensive current and foresight research in China and abroad. The paper summarizes ecological ethics education abroad, and advice to handle western modern ecological ethics education in a prudent way. Then the paper examines the current ecological ethics education in China from six perspectives from theoretical basis, basic meaning, necessity and major rules, major content, practical situation, approaches, and points out the current research stills need to be deepened etc. In addition, the paper discusses the research foresight of topic, and consideres related research is still in a blank status. Through analysis, it’s possible and necessary to integrate ecological ethics into geoscientific education, if do so, which will improve the effectiveness. The chapter finally introduces research thought and method, as well as difficult and creative points.The second part is the second chapter, which explains the basic conception and significance of ecological ethics education for the geoscientific university student. The main conception includes categories of ecological ethics. There are two main significance of ecological ethics education for the geoscientific university student, one is social meaning, including the reality need to solve ecological crisis, develop socialism ethicss and push forward ecological civilization. The other is to improve personal development for students, including comprehensive development and career development.The third is the main part. On the basis of comprehensive discussion of ecological ethics education for the geoscientific university student, the chapter analyzes the theoretical basis of such education, and constructs the system of content and approaches. The part includes chapter three, four, five, six and seven.The third chapter includes survey and analysis. Through survey of seven universities,2503 geoscientific students, the paper discovers that these students have conscious and ethics of ecological environment, and master ecologic knowledge, as well as auto-psyche behavior. These students are willing to receive ecological ethics education, and agree that mixing it into major course will be a better way to realize daily self-education. But there still exist some problems, such as the ecological ethics consciousness should be enhanced, related knowledge should be more abundant, related behaviors should be unity of moral knowledge, and ecological ethics should be blended into university education. The chapter analyzes the causes of the phenomenon made by university and students, in details, university lacks of environment and resource of ecological ethics education, and student abilities need to be enhanced to get rid of influence of traditional ethicss.The fourth chapter states the theoretic basis of ecological ethics education for geoscientific university student, including maxims ecological thoughts, harmonious development theory in geoscientific philosophy, the basic theory of moral education. Maxim’s ecological thoughts indicate Marx and Engels ecologic philosophy and Marxist theory of China. Harmonious development theory in geoscientific philosophy includes admit and respect natural survival, natural solution, natural production, natural value theory and coordinating theory between human and earth. The basic theory of moral education includes goal, process and method.The fifth chapter constructs the content system of ecological ethics education for the geoscientific university student. According to reality requirement of Socialist ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics, and objective, current situation, characteristics of ecological ethics education for the geoscientific university student, the chapter constructs the content system including knowledge, mind and education of ecological ethics education, following rules of theoretical and practical, full and professional, stable and developing. Ecological environment knowledge, ecological mind and ecological ethics regulation are closed-related and mutual-promoted. In details, ecological environment knowledge provides basis to understand relationship between human and nature, problems of ecological environment, and take proper behaviors. And ecological ethics minds offer guidance for students to discriminate, judge the right and wrong in field of ecological environment. And ecological ethics regulation is the rules to protect, improve and construct ecological environment, is also the foot point of ecological environmental knowledge and minds.The sixth chapter is topic research, which explores ecological ethics resources from geoscientific education. Geoscientific majors involves dozens of professional courses, each of them contains ecological ethicss education resources. The chapter mainly digs out teaching resources from non-renewal of mineral resources and rational development and utilization, rational development and utilization, human activities and geological disaster prevention, groundwater contamination, the co-evolution of biology and environment. Geoscientific philosophy research the problem in theoretic and practical fields of geosciences. The chapter finds out ecological ethicss resources from geological movement basic rule, learning theory, person relations theory. In specifics, includes geological system law and ecological view education as a whole, geological complementary law and ecological concept of moral responsibility education, natural value and ecological values education, mineral resources value and ecological moral view education in liability, the recognition of relationship between man and the history of the development and the harmonious development of man and nature, human interaction with the earth and ecology view education as a whole, harmonious development theory and ecological morality education.The seventh chapter focuses approaches of ecological ethics education for the geoscientific university student. The chapter analyzes the four approaches as penetrating education into profession courses, mixing into the teaching of ideological and political education theory, running through the routine education management services, and integrating into self-education, based on two objectives of educator and students, from three dimensions of class-teaching, education management and self-education. Among them, geoscientific professional courses penetrating ecological ethics education should follow rules of appropriateness, adequacy, dynamics, emphasis. Take physical geology as an example, we stress that improve ecological ethicss consciousness and abilities of professional teacher, and enhance rule and evaluation system construction. For mixing into the teaching of ideological and political education theory, the chapter takes the course of ideological and moral cultivation and basic law education as an example, the course explores the resources and expand teaching content, improve teaching methodologies, in order to assure teaching effectiveness. The approach of running through the routine education management services analyzes how to fulfill regulation and teaching guidance, to improve students’ mind and competence to participate ecological ethics education, and develop the function of teacher, tutor and management staff to join in the education. Self-education analyzes how to realize it from four dimensions of self-study, professional and social practice, party activities and internet activities.The fourth part is the end of dissertation, including ending, salutation and bibliography.
