The Internet On Children’s Viewing Habits

This thesis focuses on "the construction of programs on CCTV children channel", makes analysis of the survival condition of CCTV children channel under the grand impact of the Internet, and provides some suggestions to the construction and development of CCTV children channel.The research indicts that the internet affects children’s television viewing habit to a certain extent, including mainly affecting the time point, time range of watching TV, and watching preferences etc. In the current situation of the development of children’s TV, this thesis makes suggestions from three aspects as the constitution of program content, the constitution of program form, the constitution of communication channels basing on the conclusion of empirical study, in order to deal with it that internet seizes the audience of TV making use of more scientific, reasonable program framework.This research provides a clear, unambiguous definition of "television viewing habit", and makes intensive discussion of "evaluation dimensions of television viewing habit", at the same time, researchers made analysis of the main factors that affect television viewing habit from the perspective of "socialization of human", trying to open up a new space for media use in the future.
