Research And Application Of Data Warehouse Model In Exploration And Development

During the process of oil exploration and development, large amount of manufacturing information is created. Although exploration database and development database have been individually developed by different departments based on their requirements, discrete saving mode of data sources cannot meet the requirements of production. A new idea is to share and take full advantage of these data via managing them after integrating exploration and development database,it is a new access to improve the management level and company efficiency in oil and gas field.1. Based on the research of data warehouse building theory and methodology, a data warehouse mode is presented on integrating oil exploration with development.2. After investigating current oil field tasks and original data model in CNPC and studing POSC Epicentre core modeling technique, an analysis method based on the areas, processes and activities is presented to build a data model of oil exploration and development with special oil features which integrates different data sources and form the unified data management mode.3. On the base of building models, we arrange the oil data and archive them, study the dynamic data sampling technique, develop data sampling software, research loading technique of historical data, analyze exploration data sources, investigate data source saving and management modes, provide solutions to load exploration and development data, and solve technique issues when importing different data sources to warehouse.4. Study the data mining techniques, build data mining modes. Based on the production requirements, extract valuable knowledge from significantly increasing data in production, utilize Clustering Analysis (CA) to optimize the assignment of strata and evaluate the optimized results.5. Using production management as the major topic, analyze the life cycle of oil gas water well in China, investigate the production process of oil gas well management and data process, provide the solution to the integrated data management from oil extraction teams at grass roots to the headquarter, apply privilege control technique to different level of operations, take advantage of the unified platform to realize the data analysis, reading and decision application for different levels of management, use network address translation technique and intelligent analysis techniques to realize the function of data penatration from the headquarter to the oil company, or the single well, solve the difficulty that oil gas water well production information cannot be read, build a standard data management system, build a platform to share and integrate data, provide technical support to production analysis and decision application of exploration and development.
