Study On Core Competence Evaluation In Chinese Andindian Listed Pharmaceutical Companies

With the excellence performance of Indian pharmaceutical companies in theinternational market and bilateral "CHINDIA" background, study on corecompetitiveness evaluation has been done in Chinese and Indian Listedpharmaceutical companies. This paper is a empirical research one based on solvingproblems caused by practice and tried to provide theoretical and empirical evidencefor Chinese pharmaceutical companies to compete effectively in the internationalmarket, with the purpose of promoting the sustained, rapid, stable and healthydevelopment of pharmaceutical industry economic in China.Firstly, the research base and research front of efficiency and corecompetitiveness are researched through the introduction of scientific metrologyfrontier-the knowledge map visualization methods and their theories are reviewed.Then the operating status of listed pharmaceutical company in China and Indiaare analysized by12indicators, including market structure, ownership structure, assetstructure, debt maturity structure, financing structure, growth ability, profitability,asset management, solvency, risk management capability, cash management, taxburden, the results of these studies play the evidence of role about efficiency analysisand core competence evaluation. On this basis, the application of the SFA, thetraditional DEA model (CCR, BCC), the super-efficiency model, the Malmquist indexof efficiency are used for estimation of efficiency.From several angles such asmean,the trend, the structure,the efficiency are studied comparativly,also the reason isdiscussed. Parametric t-test is examined whether there is significant difference amongthese efficiecy score. These studies have paved the way for the evaluation of the corecompetitiveness.Finally the core competitiveness evaluation index systems are built based on theperspective of efficiency, the core competitiveness of listed pharmaceutical companyin China and India is evaluated by factor analysis method and the structure is analyzed.Studying the main factors affecting the core competitiveness will be to verify whetherthe efficiency is an important constituent elements of the core competitiveness, andthere has been a significantly positive impact on the improvement of the corecompetitiveness at last.The study suggests that the overall efficiency level of the listed pharmaceuticalcompany in India is higher than one in China, and it has a well development trend. Core competitiveness are mostly in the middle and upper levels. The conclusions ofthis paper further confirmed the root cause of the excellent performance of Indianpharmaceutical companies in recent years, providing a theoretical basis for buildingthe core competitiveness of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises.In this paper, the main innovations are as follows:1、 Study on visualization of efficiency and the core competitiveness based onknowledge map.2、 Empirical comparative study on the efficiency of listed pharmaceutical companyin China and India, analysis of efficiency differences and the reasons.3、 Building the new core competitiveness evaluation system of pharmaceuticalenterprise based on efficiency perspective, the core competitiveness have beenconducted to study comparatively in Chinese and Indian listed pharmaceuticalcompanies, and to verify that whether the efficiency has a positive impact relationshipon core competitiveness.
