With the rapid development of economic globalization, the progress of sciencetechnology and the rise of the knowledge economy, as typical representatives of theservices, modern logistics enterprises are booming, demonstrating strong vitality.However the external market environment which they are in has undergone a enormouschange, uncertainties faced increasing, customer needs tending to personalization anddiversification, all kinds of innovation accelerating, life cycles of innovation continueto shorten, the logistics market more brutal and intense competition. Under thesecircumstances, service innovation has become the key to the construction of corecompetitiveness of logistics enterprises, and the importance of service innovationmanagement in logistics enterprises’ management is highlighting. Due to the nature ofmodern logistics enterprises themselves have, such as a service product "invisible" and"complexity", that means their innovation activities and the effectiveness of services aredifficult to assess, so establishing an effective and reliable evaluation system is a veryeffective method to promote modern logistics enterprise service innovation performancefurther.The paper applies to services innovation theory, knowledge management theory,performance theory, entropy theory, rough set theory and other relevant research results.It comprehensively analyses key factors of service innovation of modern logisticsenterprise, and interoperates index system of service innovation performance appraisalin detail, and build a theoretical model for performance evaluation of modern logisticsenterprises’ service innovation which is based on improved entropy-dual point method.On this basis, through specifically an empirical analysis for selected10listed logisticscompanies and the top50of logistics companies throughout the country, the paper teststhe scientificalness and effectiveness of model, and puts forward specificcountermeasures to promote service innovation performance of modern logisticsenterprise. In order to help enterprises to understand and manage service innovationactivities from comprehensive perspectives, the paper makes work to improve serviceinnovation performance more specific and concrete.Main research conclusions and innovative points of the paper focus on four aspectsfollowing: First, the paper expands the perspective of modern logistics enterprises’performance evaluation research. The paper attempts to study modern logisticsenterprises’ performance evaluation from the perspective of service innovation, andfocuses on the influence on enterprise performance caused by service innovation, and inthe process of setting performance measure index,more focuses on enterprise rapiddevelopment and the ability to introduce new service products and customer satisfactionindex,etc, in order to more fully reveal the potential for the development of enterprisesin the future, and then enhances the core competitiveness of enterprises.Second, the paper designs the index system of service innovation performanceevaluation of modern logistics enterprises. Service innovation performance evaluationof modern logistics enterprises which is constructed in the paper, is divided into threestages: key element analysis, the evaluation index selection and performanceevaluation,which gives full consideration to the uncertainty, diversity and difficult tomeasure and other characteristics of the modern service innovation of logisticsenterprises’ performance. According to the key influence factor of enterprise serviceinnovation internal and external from17aspects, considering the importance, systematic,measurable, effective as principle, by rough set reduction method to select importantevaluation level, the paper calculates the weight of each level with entropy weightmethod, and grasps the performance of service innovation management in modernlogistics enterprises, and effectively overcomes key element identification processcomplication and fuzzy problems of the modern logistics enterprises’ service innovation,and enriches the existing research method system.Third, the paper constructs the theoretical model of performance evaluation ofmodern logistics enterprises’ service innovation based on modified entropy anddouble-base-point method. Through the comprehensive convergence factors, theoreticalanalysis of driving key elements, the paper ascertains the characteristics, statisticalindex and accounting methods of factors layer by elaborated, in order to providedecision support for the expert grading work, and adopts the entropy weight method,andassigns different classification of logistics enterprises innovation performance indexweight, and constructs a model of entropy-double-base-point introduced postedschedule, and makes the applicable quantitative calculation model introduced tooptimize the process evaluation index system, and solves the problems of evaluationindicators containing each other and evaluation expert opinion too divergent in the logistics service capability,and then improve the accuracy and effectiveness of theevaluation system.Fourth, the paper puts forward the classification of modern logistics enterprisesbased on service innovation. This study breaks through the traditonal,common andstatic classification method of logistics enterprises, and analyses ability that the modernlogistics enterprise service innovation market satisfys customer demands from theservice innovation’ breadth, depth, intensity and degree of association. On the basis ofthe quality, level of development and the time sequence, the modern logistics enterpriseswith the service innovation are divided into three types: the leading modern logisticsenterprises, the following modern logistics enterprises and the lagged modern logisticsenterprises. This is not only in line with the actual development needs of modernlogistics enterprises, but also can fully reflect the dynamic principle of its development,for more deeply, more targeted research laying foundation. On this basis, the paperapplys the modified entropy-double-base-point model to performance evaluation ofmodern logistics enterprises’ service innovation, and in which it gives detailedevaluation process and membership degree ranking results for the following modernlogistics enterprises, and through calculation results of a certain enterprise’ innovationperformance membership it proves the reliability of the method, using the panel dataerror analysis method, AHP evaluation method and comprehensive evaluation based onMorlet wavelet network method,and verify the scientific method by comparison in thispaper. Results analysis also gives the influence degree of a mid-tier every index ofdifferent types of the logistics enterprise service innovation performance, and furtherrefines the services innovation performance evaluation research.
