The Contemporary Development And Crisis Of Capitalist Economy

The development of the contemporary capitalist economy and its economic crisis are the two inseparable phenomenons of the economic process. They have a common basis, roots and logic.The capitalist private ownership, capitalist commodity production, the rule of capital to the social material production process、the existing development achievements and experience are the premise and foundation of contemporary capitalist economic development. The premise and the foundation contain the root and internal logic of the economic crisis, thus the development of the contemporary capitalist economy can not avoid the economic crisis.The existing achievements of the contemporary capitalist economic development can be summarized as the following six aspects:Firstly, science and technology and productivity has undergone a qualitative leap; Secondly, great changes have taken place in production process. Besides the traditional crisis of relative overproduction, there is structural crisis, financial crisis and the approaching multiple crises. Therefore, the economic crisis of contemporary capitalism has been obviously developed into a crisis system based on a relative overproduction and in which multiple crises co-exist.As for the development trend of the crisis of contemporary capitalism, the traditional crisis will continue to be the basis of economic crisis, and the structural crisis will tend to be multiple. Financial crisis will continue to occur periodically thereby it will form an intertwined situation with multiple crises.In general, contemporary capitalist economy will undergo a further development,however the economic crisis will be more difficult to deal with.
