Prof. Zhan Ying is a famous contemporary expert on the research of Wen Xin DiaoLong, whose “Stylistics of Wen Xin Diao Long” and "Wen Xin Diao Long Yi Zheng” are bothpowerful works in contemporary “study on lung”. Andthe paper tries to highlight the value of editions recording of Wen Xin Diao Long from theimportant edition introduction, the origin of edition research and so on.Zhan Ying’s achievements of research on checking and annotating of Wen Xin Diao Longmainly show that he presents his views and opinions based on checking and annotating theoriginal paper. Besides, he makes his own judgments when he quotes the annotatingachievements of other specialists. He even corrects mistakes for Fan Wen Lan’s Annotation inWen Xin Diao Long and Checking and Annotation of Wen Xin Diao Long by Wang LiQi,Yang Ming Zhao’s Wen Xin Diao Long Annotating Deficiency. He has done somecomplements to the latter two’s deficiency. The paper summarizes Zhan Ying’s checking andannotating features: absorbing a large number of research achievements of academic circlessince modern times, expressing the criticism and correction, consulting lots of related date togive a point, quoting from the research achievements of Wen Xin Diao Long in Taiwan,Hongkong and Japan.The construction of style theory is another big creating point for ZhanYing’s study on Wen Xin Diao Long, which possesses very important theoretical value and academic significance.The style theory consists of author style, writing style,period style and the research of styletype as well as the style tendentious issues concerning with “Shi” theory. The most importanttheoretical value is the research of writing style,“Shi”theory,“Feng Gu” and “Yin Xiu”Zhan Ying believes that writing style theory belongs to the general character research ofstyle that has important normative force and guiding significance.“Shi” theory in Wen XinDiao Long Ding Shi dates from “Shi” theory proposed by Sunzi, fully demonstratingdialectics thought of “Shi” theory that has “Ding” and or not. He compares“Feng Gu”with sublime theory of the western aesthetics to highlight the character ofmasculine beauty and aesthetic value. These are reflecting valuable academic spirit ofindependent thinking and forming his own unique style. Regarding the research on Wen XinDiao Long Yin Xiu’’ s supplement which is true or false, Zhan Ying forcefully argues thesupplement is a fake. From all aspects of editions, arguments, words and so on, he argues andrefutes the pseudo saying with more evidence.
