Research On Geological Yuedu Poems Of Tang

Geological Yuedu poems of this thesis, which combine the concepts of geograpyand Yuedu in ancient Chinese documents, are based on content of Gui Jian Poetry. Itrefers to poets who starts with particular geographical situation and depicts mainlygeographical scenery. This thesis studies geographical poems mainly employingclassical studying method of literature and drawing on the theory of historicalgeography, cultural geography and other related discipline, and emphasis on itscreation of the famous Tang Dynasty landscape poetry and its relation to thegeographical location.The paper consists of introduction, body and supplementary part. Theintroduction part traces the “Geographical Yuedu” and defines Geographical Yuedu. Itreviews the Chinese modern history, geography, philosophy, literature and otherdisciplines for the study of geography scholars in the field of Yuedu poems, andcarries out the studies from the perspectives of macro and case studies.The body part is divided into five chapters, discussing the famous Tang DynastyYuedu and the poem creation of other natural landscapes. It also discusses artisticfeatures, elaborating Tang Dynasty geographic Yuedu poetry and aesthetic value,geographical awareness and spread value. Each chapter as follows.Chapter1, it mainly outlines two areas of the Tang Dynasty geographic poems.On the one hand, it describes a creative background of Tang Dynasty geographicYuedu poems. Creation of Tang Dynasty Yuedu poem has a quite close relationshipwith the transportation convenience, roaming prosperity and the popularity of hermits.On the other hand, it discusses the whole creation of the Tang Dynasty Yuedu poems.It overviews the creation situation of the famous Tang Dynasty. It includes landscapeand other natural geographical landscape poems.Chapter2, mainly demonstrates the poems for mountains and hills from TangDynasty. There are some regional characteristics created the boom of geographicpoems of Mount Lu, such as deeply rooted Mount Lu culture, great popularity ofTaoism and the prosperity of cultural acitivities. The political and cultural activities ofMount Song prospered the Mount Song poetry of Tang Dynasty. In spite of thosesuperficially commenting works, the Mount Taishi, Mount Shaoshi, Shaolin Temple and Song yang Abby from Mount Song had all become famous portraying objects.Besides, it also illustrates the relations between the geographic poems writing, as forMount Heng, Mount Jiuhua and Mount Tai, and the local cultures.Chapter3, mainly focuses on the narration about the creation of Tang’s Shuidupoems. The famous Tang dynasty landscape realistic description works are used as theresearch objects, and the geographical landscape features of Changjiang Three Gorges,Dongting Lake, West Lake and the Yellow Rive and poetry creation circumstances arewell grouped and analyzed.Chapter4, other important poems of Tang Dynasty about geographical landscapeare discussed. We regard Mei Po poems represented by landscape poems and poemsof rock landscape represented by Wangfu Stone and Taihu Stone as main studyingobjects. It also analyses the creative features of these poems.Chapter5, this chapter discusses artistic features and values of aesthetics ofgeographical Yuedu poems in Tang Dynasty. From creative analysis of these poems,we discuss artistic feature of geographical landscape, narrative feature, and imaginaryfeature and also depict artistic value, geographical recognition and spreading value ofaesthetics.The supplementary part mainly focuses on the influence of geographical Yuedupoems in Tang Dynasty on geographical cognition and dissemination in TangDynasty.
