College students are the main outputs of higher education, their professionaldevelopment have become the major concerns not only by themselves, but also by theirfamilies and society. In recent years, many scholars have studied the elements in isolationor part at different angle. The elements are the human capital investment, the careerexpectancy, the career development, the career self-efficacy and the career maturity ofcollege students, and so on. But the overall study of those elements is lack. Therefore, it isof great theoretical and practical significance to investigate the relationship between thehuman capital investment and the career development, which can determine the causalitiesof those elements.Based on the intension of the concept of those elements, the related literatures aboutthe human capital investment, the career expectancy, the career development, the careerself-efficacy and the career maturity of college students are reviewed and analyzed. On thebase of analysis on previous studies, the conceptual models of the human capital investmentand the career development of college students are built in this paper. By the qualitativeresearch method, starting with the deep interview and observation,the interview data aresummed up, sorted out, coded and deduced. A questionnaire on the human capitalinvestment and career development of college students is composed in the paper combinedtheoretic studies and mature scale. In terms of the maximum entropy criteria, the regularityof distribution of random variables is studies under the maximum entropy criteria. Thestructural equation model of human capital investment and career development of collegestudents is built through the structural equation model theory. It establishes a foundation ofmethod in structural equation model through a comparative study on modeling methods ofPLS and LISREL. Based on the theoretical and qualitative research, the evaluation methodsare applied to evaluate and study the career maturity fuzzy synthetic evaluation method ofcollege students. The fundamental career maturity index theory is build.Based on the scientific procedures of investigation, the empirical researches areconducted by way of scientific methods. By using Excel2007, SPSS17.0, AMOS17.0andSIMCA-P12.0software, the analysis and verification are done to data from the valid1102questionnaires. The structural equation models are proved that they coincide with therequirements and analyzes of the model by means of the reliability and validity test, theconfirmatory factor analysis, the goodness of fit test and the path coefficient test, which can provide data for the theoretical analysis and some suggestions.It’s the first time that the principal components regressions weighting methods arecombined with the entropy weighting methods, which constitutes the entropy weightingmethods based on the principal components regressions. This method not only solvesmulti-co linearity problem, but also gets the maximum information. So it is constructed toestablish a foundation of method in the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and indexresearches of college students’ career maturity.Theoretical contributions in this paper are mainly included: they enrich and developthe theory of the human capital investment and career development of college studentsthrough theory innovation study; they fill a theoretical blank in this field to a certain degreeby the researches of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of college students’; they establishthe index theory of college students’ career maturity.The research results have important realistic meanings in this paper. They can provideguidance for universities how to cultivate high quality personnel. It has importantsignificance for the employing units how to set up a sound platform for the college students,which can lead university students to realize their career life targets and promote theemploying units to realize strategic objective. They provide reference for the individuals toimprove comprehensive self-quality and help the college students to be employedsatisfactorily through reasonably regulating the human capital input in the period of thehigher education.
