In Manual Operation System (MOS), workers are the primary factor determining the performance of enterprise production. Workers’learning and flexibility provide way choices to organization and optimization control for MOS in complex and changeable environment, put forward new challenges at the same time. With the increasement of repeat operation, workers have improved their production efficiency as the result of the improvement of the labor proficiency. At the same time, repeat operations can cause workers’burnout, thus have negative impact on production quality and efficiency. Traditional operating system model seldom pay attention to worker factors. From the perspective of worker factors, this thesis establish operating system models to study workers’organization optimization considering the workers’learning and burnout effect in MOS.First of all, this study further analyses the influence of the worker factors on production efficiency and establish a mathematical model considering workers’ learning and burnout effect. On this basis, the main research content includes the following three aspects.Research on workforce planning considering of worker’s learning and boredom. Enterprise capacity and idle capacity caused by the random fluctuations of order demands brought huge challenge. Currently, many strategies are put forward to low the risks. There are two aspects from the perspective of employees:On the one hand, overtime working and hiring temporary workers to make up for a lack of capacity; On the other hand, firing workers to reduce the idle capacity. An integer programming model is put forward considering of worker’s learning and boredom taking variable cost as objective function and making decisions on the following questions:(1) total number of workers in each planning period;(2)overtime working hours of temporary workers and permanent workers in each planning period;(3)the number of temporary workers and permanent workers with different skill levels in each planning period;(4)the number of hiring and firing temporary workers in each planning period. Based on a numerical example, we prove the validity of the proposed model. Further analysis on parameters, we get the optimal number of permanent workers and the optimal strategy between overtime working by permanent workers and hiring temporary workers.Research on worker assignment considering of worker’s learning and boredom. In this section, we study worker assignment problem to reduce the influence of skills difference and change on production schedule. Assignment optimization models are proposed considering of worker’s learning and boredom taking completion time as the objective function, respectively discussing three kinds of operation mode of assignment problem under the condition of mass production: M=N, M>N and M<N. Based on a numerical example, we prove the validity of the proposed model. First, we compare the influence of earning effect, burnout effect and workers’heterogeneity on completion date and assignment strategy. The results show that the workers’ learning effect and burnout effect have a significant impact on the completion date and assign strategy. The attention to workers’ heterogeneity helps narrow the gap between the theory research and production practice. Next, we compare the two kinds of practical assignment model-assignment based on initial skills and assignment based on learning effect and burnout effect, results show that the optimization model established helps shorten the completion date and optimize worker’s assignment. Finally, we analyze the influence of production batch on different assignment strategy. The results show that there is a turning point of assignment strategyx, when production batchx<x, assignment strategy based on initial skills is optimal; when production batchx> x, assignment strategy based on learning effect and burnout effect is optimal. Research on worker rotation considering of worker’s learning and boredom. Work specialization for the enterprise brings economic advantages as well as brings economic disadvantages, showing that the employee’s boredom, fatigue, stress, low productivity, low quality, high absenteeism and high turnover rate, etc. In this case, the researchers found that job rotation is a good solution. Taking the enterprise’s overall production performance as the objective function, considering the influence of employee’s learning and boredom on production efficiency, an optimization model for job rotation was proposed to make decisions on the rotation’s intervals and rules. The following four types of model is set up: static model, dynamic model, M=N, M>N and M<N model. Finally, combined with a numerical example, the effectiveness of the model is verified. Results show that job rotation helps to keep the advantage of learning effects, to avoid the negative burnout effect and improve enterprise productivity. Results obtained in this paper helps to investigate behavioral factors’ impact on the operation management in production operation system, optimizing the operation and management of production system through workers’effective organization to provide decision support for the enterprise.
