The Research Of Jiangnan Traditional Architectural Culture And The Revelation For The Contemporary Architectural Creation

We are calling for a kind of cultural diversity and regional culture with the rising of internationalization and globalization.Architecture,act as one of the appearances of human being culture,ought to show it’s sincerity on responding to cultural difference and diversity.Therefore,it is an inner pursuit of Architectural Creation to pay more attention to the multiple cultures,resist to the universal culture and hear the voice of regional culture in China,even in the world.This paper is talking about the cultural originals and building the theory for Jangnan traditional Architecture in three different levels,the principle(philosophy),the significance(aesthetic)and the form(pattern of manifestation).This three levels go forward one by one.The author discuss these on the base of regional culture,especially the Jangnan traditional cultural.At the same time,some problems of Contemporary Architectural Creation in the thoughts and the representation also are discussed in this article.What’s more,the author hasa deep research on the Jangnan traditional Architecture,offering us some new ideas and enlightenment for Contemporary Architectural Creation in a form of which called the self-examination of culture.The Paper is divided into two parts.The first part is talking about the characteristics of Jangnan traditional Architecture,comparing the Architecture culture differences of different regions,particularly with the Jangnan traditional Architecture.The second part is working on specific problems in Contemporary Architectural Creation and giving some suggestions based on the part one.In the first part,firstly,talking about the principle.The author defined the theory of the harmony of human and nature,the harmony of the individual and the outside world the timethe space and the nature environment in Jangnan traditional Architecture.The author also concluded the origin of Jiangnan architectural thoughts named "natural-individual".Then,turn to the significance,the Jiangnan traditional Architecture;the characteristics of Chinese traditional gardens were talked about in these chapters with the words of Jiangnan "poetic aesthetics".The last one,the chapters expounded the form,in these chapters,the morphological structure,the spatial scale,the characteristics of the architectural details of the Jiangnan settlements were summarized.Based on all this above,a framework of Jiangnan traditional architectural theory was built in this paper.The Jiangnan traditional architectural is actually a representation of ancient Chinesecivilization,not only in its aesthetic consciousness,but also the form of expression.These are useful for the emphasizing the importance of culture in Contemporary Architectural Creation.Therefore,in the second part,the author came up with some problems in Contemporary Architectural Creation.Then,he did some research on features of Architectural Creation,on two side of it,the architecture theory and the actual architectural creation.The author put forward the ontology of architecture,which is come from the theory of "natural-individual".The reflection of the emotion in Architectural Creation and the crosstalk of the folk traditional culture and the Architectural Creation also come from the poetic spirit and regional culture of Jiangnan culture,respectively.As a consequence,a lot of enlightenment was given by Jiangnan traditional architectural to Contemporary Architectural Creation,which should be considered a treasure.This Paper primarily talking about the Contemporary Architectural Creation and trying to solve some problems in the creation,based on the Jiangnan traditional architectural culture.However,the problems may not be entirely to find solutions from the Jiangnan architectural culture,as the compatibility of culture itself.The author tried to wake up some traditional consciousness,provide recommendation and opinion in the Contemporary Architectural Creation with a unique and traditional perspective.
