Overhead conductor rails have been widely used in engineering practice to carry traction current in tunnels. With urban boundary expansion, distance between neighboring stations increased, which led to a higher operation speed of metro vehicles. In order to develop pantographs and overhead conductor rail systems for 160km/h and above, it is necessary to research the systematical theory of pantograph-overhead conductor rail dynamic interaction and develop related engineering simulation tools. Therefore, this dissertation did following researches:a) Several pantograph models in multi-mass system, multi-rigid system, flexible system and rigid-flexible coupling system were built up by obtaining parameters from pantograph dynamic tests. And then, by comparing modal characteristics of these models,pantograph models were confirmed. Pantograph model library has been got.b) This thesis analyzed conductor rail, contact wire and support structure in overhead conductor rail by using model analysis method and finite element method respectively,established 2D and 3D dynamic model of overhead conductor rail including some key sections such as overlap, transition to overhead contact lines. Overhead conductor rail system model library has been got.c) Detemining dynamic contact force by nonlinear penalty function, coupling model of pantograph and overhead conductor rail was completed. And then, computing matrix of continuous wave equation methods and finite element method were given;d) Two dynamic interaction models of pantograph and overhead conductor rail:multi-flexible model and rigid-flexible model have been built up by presenting integration algorithm of these two models respectively cooperating to 2D and 3D pantograph models and writing their simulation program.e) Performance index and its range of pantograph and overhead conductor rail dynamic interaction were presented. By comparing simulation results and real dynamic behavior measuring from a typical section according to EN50317 and EN50318, the simulation methods can be thought verified.f) Taking a section of 80km/h overhead conductor rail as an example, the author analyzed dynamic interaction influenced from single factor of pantograph, overhead conductor rail and their coupling boundary and constraint conditions. Furthermore according to orthogonal experiments, multi-factors of pantograph and overhead conductor rail were taken in consideration. The dissertation pointed out the law of dynamic interaction under multi-factors and their sensitivity.g) By considering the above conclusion and comparing dynamic behavior of different pantographs, speed, conductor rail, static error, stiffness at support structure, span length,overlap structure and transition section structure, a system design plan of pantograph-overhead conductor rail at 160km/h was proposed.
