The development of pulsed power supply originated in the demand of national defense research area around the world.With the progress in switch technology,semiconductor devices and energy storage devices,the development of pulsed power supply system gradually to the high-frequency,miniaturization,lightweight and modularization directions.Compared to the traditional DC power supply system,the pulsed power supply system usually contain both average power payload and pulsed power payload,therefore the pulsed power supply system has to meet the high-quality and reliable power supply requirements of both payloads simultaneously.Although the battery is widely used as the energy storage unit in DC power system since it has many advantages such as high energy density and high reliability,the low power density and low cycle life drawbacks limit its applications in pulsed power supply system.Since the pulsed power payload has high peak power level and high repetition frequency,when the pulsed power system energy storage unit only contains battery devices,very larger storage capacity configuration has to be chosen in order to ensure the peak pulsed demand,which means the waste of the average power capacity and low overall power density.Besides,high-frequency and high-rate battery charge/discharge current caused by repetitive pulsed power payload not only rapidly increase the internal heat of the battery but also dramatically shorten the lifetime of the battery,moreover,the DC bus voltage fluctuation caused by the high peak pulsed power payload may even deteriorate the normal operation of the power supply system.This thesis start with the study on characteristics of the repetitive pulsed power payload and pulsed power energy storage device,then combined with the research on DC power supply system topology and the pulsed power technology in order to investigate the key knowledges of the hybrid energy storage DC power supply system.From the in-depth research of above aspects,the dual-bus DC power supply system based on battery and supercapacitor hybrid energy storage devices has been presented,analyzed and studied in order to minimize the pulsed power disturbance on the DC voltage bus,improve the power quality of both pulsed and non-pulsed power payload,enhance the reliability and lifetime of the power supply system.The proposed hybrid energy storage dual-bus power supply system provides a reliable solution for pulsed power application.The dynamic characteristic of the pulsed power converter determines the operation quality of the pulsed power payload.In order to solve the poor dynamic response problem of the traditional Boost converter caused by the inherent right-half-plane(RHP)zero,the magnetic integrated input/output current ripple cancellation Boost converter topology without RHP zero has been proposed.The RHP zero of the converter can be eliminated,the dynamic characteristic can be improved and the input/output current ripple can be reduced.For the low voltage and high current pulsed power payload applications,Buck converter with variable tapped inductor is presented.By changing the equivalent output inductance value of the converter,the advantage of low current ripple at steady state and high current changing rate at dynamic state can be combined.To improve the reliability of the pulsed payload power supply and reduce the operation stresses of the pulsed power converter and pulsed power energy storage device,the pulsed power auxiliary converter and its operation mode is introduced.At the same time,the input current ripple cancellation converter based on tapped inductor has been proposed.By adding an auxiliary inductor and capacitor,the simple current ripple cancellation structure can be applied to the converter design process in order to reduce the pulsed power disturbance on the DC bus voltage.Combined with the high power level and equivalent high frequency advantages of the interleaved converter and the easy implementation advantage of the auxiliary inductor current ripple cancellation technique,the interleaved Boost converter with ripple cancellation network has been proposed to provide new solution for high pulsed power auxiliary converter.Based on the research on the supercapacitor energy storage wide voltage range characteristic and the pros and cons of wide voltage converter topologies,a novel multimode variable structure bridge isolated converter has been proposed.By changing the equivalent DC voltage gain in different operation mode,the efficiency and steady conditions of the proposed converter can be optimized in all voltage range.The introducing of the magnetic integrated technique solves the problem of discontinue input current in the bridge converter.The sectional type variable amplitude triangular carrier control based on input voltage feed-forward is given in order to simplify the loop design of the converter and inhibit the input power fluctuation during operation mode switching.The above mentioned design guaranteed the stable and efficient work of the proposed multimode variable structure bridge isolated converter.In this thesis,dual-bus DC power supply system architecture based on hybrid energy storage and multi-channel pulse energy supply scheme are proposed for pulsed power supply with 50Hz-1kHz wide repetition frequency.At the same time,according to the working requirements of each sub-module in the pulsed power supply system,the topology of the high dynamic response pulse power Boost and Buck converters based on the magnetic integration technology and the tapped inductor technology are proposed respectively.Based on the coupled inductor technology and the tapped inductor technology,low current ripple pulse power auxiliary converter topology is proposed,meanwhile a wide voltage range high efficiency multi-mode variable structure bridge converter based on magnetic integration technology is proposed.Overall,the research contents mentioned in this paper provide an effective solution for the study of the mixed energy storage double pulsed pulse power supply and its sub module.
