By applying the principle of forest ecology,plantation cultivation,and with directed cultivation,fast-growing,high-yield,good quality and high economic efficiency as guiding lines,Cyclobalanopsis gilva is selected to solve the current problems existed in afforesttion and cultivation.Applied biological method and statistical analysis software,the seed character and seeding cultivation tending management measures were studied.The study is expected to provide theoretic basis and corresponding techniques for the large area artificial cultivation and forestation of precious timber forest tree species Cyclobalanopsis gilva.The main study contents include:(1)Cyclobalanopsis gilva seed characteristics and suitable germination storage technology.(2)Cyclobalanopsis gilva seed growth regulation and control technology research.(3)Fertilization effects on growth and physiological property about Cyclobalanopsis gilva seedling.The main results are as follows:(1)Seeds of Cyclobalanopsis gilva is ovate cylindrical,nuts,endocarp smooth,brown or light brown in color.Seeds length is ranged from 1.470?2.170cm,seeds width is ranged from 1.270?1.430cm,hilum width generally is between 0.400 and 1.120cm,cupules width is approximately in the range of 1.430 to 1.790cm,a cupules diameter is approximately 1.510?1.690cm,cupules height is generally ranged between 0.506 and 0.800cm.The seeds are plump;the weight of the seeds is ranged in(150.100±140.950)g,seeds moisture content is 40%;the germination rate is 44.2%.the external morphological characteristics of Cyclobalanopsis gilva seeds shows a certain degree of variation between the two geographical provenances.The length,volume of Dongkou provenance seeds was significantly greater than the Jingzhou provenance seeds.All in seven form indicators,the biggest coefficient of variation is the seed length,up to 0.611;the smallest coefficient of variation of the seeds is length/width,it is 0.044.(2)Seeds pericarp and testa mechanical resistance and breathability are the important reason of Seeds dormancy of Cyclobalanopsis gilva;Thiourea and different concentrations of growth regulator substances such as GA3 solution can significantly relieve seeds dormancy,accelerated the germination of seeds.The study showed that:when other germination conditions is controlled,remove the endocarp and seed coat at the same time,seeds began to germinate when storing 29 days,up to the highest seeds germination rate when storing 43 days,the overall germination rate was 66.5%;removed endocarp,seeds begin to sprout when storing 34 days,showing the highest seeds germination when storing 50 days,germination rate was 50.0%overall;soaking 24 hours with 4%thiourea solution,seeds began to germinate when storing 36 days,getting the highest germination rate when storing 52 days,the overall germination rate was 56.5%;soaking 24 hours with 600 mg/kg GA3 solution,seeds began to germinate when storing 40d,reaching the highest seed germination rate when storing 53 days,the overall germination rate was 45.8%;soaking 24 hours with 200 mg/kg GA3 solution,seeds began to germinate when storing 49 days reached the highest seeds germination rate when storing 58 days,the overall germination rate was 34.0%.(3)Physiological dynamic variation of Cyclobalanopsis gilva seeds in different storage methods.The results showed that:during storage in four experimental ways,soluble sugar content of all pedigree seeds showed a decrease after the first increase dynamic variation.POD,CAT and SOD activity is enhanced firstly then trend weakened The effect of physiological dynamic change of Cyclobalanopsis gilva seed causing by different storage methods.The study showed that:select sowing in soil as the control,the most significant effect of seed physiological changes brought by the wet sand storing.(4)The appropriate control measures of Cyclobalanopsis gilva seedlings:The suitable is acidic,about pH5.0.The suitable for planting time is March or September.The suitable watering frequency is once/5 days.The suitable planting density is 50cm×50cm.The appropriate light way is illumination 16h and dark 8h.The soil property,watering frequency and light way are key factors to influence Cyclobalanopsis gilva seedlings through analysis.(5)Formulated fertilization of nitrogen,phosphor and potassium has a significant effect on the growth a of C.gilva seedlings.Treatment 1(N5gP2gK5g)has the greatest effect on the height of seedlings.Treatment 8(N5gP0gK5g)was the best fertilization method for the ground diameter growth and chlorophyll content in the lamina.Treatment 7(N5gP2gK7.5g)was the best for the biomass.(6)Formulated fertilization of nitrogen,phosphor and potassium has a significant effect on the physiological activity of Cyclobalanopsis gilva seedlings.Treatment 2(N5gP3Gk5g)has the highest net photosynthetic rate and nitrate reductase content.C.gilva seedlings were sensitive to nitrogen,because nitrogen significantly affected the tree increment,biomass,chlorophyll content and net photosynthetic rate when compared to phosphor and potassium.However,the interaction of nitrogen,phosphor,and potassium has different effect on these indexes.Multivariate quadratic multinomial regression equation of growth and physiological signs were fitted and the proper amount of N,P and K were computed.(7)The diurnal variation of photosynthesis of Cyclobalanopsis gilva seedlings presented regular pattern in different season.The diurnal variation of net photosynthetic rate was sigmoid curve;the maximum appeared at noon 12:00pm in April.It's a bimodal curve in June and August and the maximum appeared at 10:00am and 16:00pm.The change of net photosynthetic rate was affected by both stomatal factors such as photosynthetic enzymes and non-stomatal factors.Their function varies with time.T 2 was the best choice for increasing the net photosynthetic rate in April and August,while in June it's treatment was 6.The net photosynthetic rate has significant positive correlation with transpiration rate,stomotal conductance,and photosynthetic active radiation.However,it has significant negative correlation with the concentration of intercellular carbon dioxide.The net photosynthetic rate increased with the increasing air temperature in April and August and relative air humidity in April and June,but decreased with the increasing air temperature in August and relative air humidity in June.
