Cyclobalanopsis gilva?B1.?Oerst is a valuable timber species in South China.Because of the seed was not able to bear storage,low germination rate,long germination time and poor uniformity,it is difficult for large-scale production of Cyclobalanopsis glauca seedlings.The effects of exogenous hormones on the changes of seeds storage substance,seeds germination and photosynthetic and growth regularity of Cyclobalanopsis glauca seedings during sand storage were studied for great significance to enrich the cultivation theory of Cyclobalanopsis glauca for improving seedling emergence rate and seedling quality.In this paper,the seeds of Cyclobalanopsis glauca from Hunan and the annual seedlings of Cyclobalanopsis glauca from Fujian,Jianou used as experimental materials.The physiological effects of exogenous ABA and GA3 on the three stages of sand storage,germination and seedling growth of Cyclobalanopsis glauca were studied by sand storage experiment,germination experiment and pot Cultured experiment,the effects of different hormones on different stages of Cyclobalanopsis glauca production were discussed in terms of storage substance,germination characters and growth quantity.The main conclusions are as follows?1?At room temperature,the life activities of seeds of Cyclobalanopsis glauca which don't take any storage measures increased and then decreased,and suggesting that the storage date should not exceed 9 days.?2?the process of sand accumulation is a process that continuous change in the content of seeds of Cyclobalanopsis glauca.The application of high concentration of exogenous ABA makes the soluble sugar in seeds keep stable in the process of sand storage;Starch content did not change significantly within 30 days;High concentration of ABA could keep the soluble protein content at a high level.With the extension of sand storage time,the soluble protein content of the low concentration ABA treatment group decreased faster than that of the high concentration treatment group;Water content in shell and kernel did not change obviously.?3?Soaking seeds with ABA before sand storage can promote the germination rate of seeds,but not the higher the ABA concentration is,the higher the germination rate is.Soaking seeds with GA3 and soaking seeds with GA3 combined with warm water could promote the germination of Cyclobalanopsis glauca seeds,but there was no difference between the two treatments.The effect of combination treatment of two hormones in different periods was greater than that of two hormones alone,and the effect of combined effect on promoting germination rate was higher than that of two hormones alone.?4?Cluster analysis showed that the non-treatment group?CK+ck?had low germination rate,irregular germination and late germination time.The characteristics of germination rate,germination uniformity and germination time were discussed in three aspects.At least one treatments were better than those without treatment were;Based on the results of cluster analysis and professional analysis,it was concluded that the combination of 10-6 mol · L-1+W+GA3 was the best treatment combination with higher germination rate,higher uniformity and higher germination time.?5?Foliar spraying of 40 mg · L-1 and 80 mg · L-1 GA3 could increase stomatal conductance,decrease intercellular CO2 concentration and increase photosynthetic rate in seedlings of annual Cyclobalanopsis glauca seedlings.GA3 promotes growth duration up to 30 days or so.The effect of spraying 120 mg · L-1 Gibberellin on Photosynthesis of Cyclobalanopsis glauca seedlings was not significant.Spraying low concentration of GA3 promoted photosynthesis of annual Cyclobalanopsis glauca seedlings,which was beneficial to the supply of material and energy during seedling growth.The higher GA3 concentration,the higher the stem and the higher the growth rate.40 mg · L-1 and 80 mg · L-1 concentration of GA3 had significant effect on seedling height growth.When the concentration was 120 mg · L-1,GA3 had no significant effect on seedling height growth;40 mg · L-1 GA3 could significantly increase the ground diameter of annual Cyclobalanopsis glauca seedlings,and the average stem growth of 120 mg · L-1 was the worst.?6?In the observation period,the stem growth of annual seedlings did not conform to the growth law of Logistic "slow-fast-slow",while the high growth fitted Logistic growth model.Spraying 40 mg·L-1 and 80 mg·L-1;GA3 could increase the high growth limit.Compared with spraying clear water and high concentration of GA3,low concentration of GA3 increased the growth limit of seedlings by prolonging the duration of fast growing period and increasing daily average growth.This study showed that 40 mg·L-1 was the ideal concentration for GA3 to promote seedling growth of annual Cyclobalanopsis glauca.To sum up,the application of exogenous hormones in the production of the seedlings of Cyclobalanopsis glauca can improve the yield and quality of the seedlings.
