The Application And Interpretation Of The Zhongjing Micro-sweat Method Based On Source Stream Combing And Noun Research

ObjectiveThis dissertation focuses on the application laws and the operation principles of Zhang Zhongjing's Micro-Diaphoresis Method theory,including the application and the objective evidences in the damp diseases,which provide useful inspiration and practical reference for the application of modern clinical Diaphoresis Method.Method(1)Using the methods of philology,collecting historical materials,combing the history of Diaphoresis Method in non-medical classics and the medical materials from the Pre-Qin Period to the Western Han Dynasty.(2)Combining literature and theory,interpreting the theory of Zhang Zhongjing's Micro-Diaphoresis Method,including the application laws and operation principles of the Micro-Diaphoresis Method,the curing laws and the application of Micro-Diaphoresis Method on damp diseases.(3)With the method of exegesis,combining the sufficient evidence of the literature and theory,this dissertation makes a textual research on the operation principle of Zhang Zhongjing's Diaphoresis Method and the related terms of the damp diseases,and clarifies its interpretation.(4)Using the method of empirical research,taking the case of the damp disease of "Jingui Yaolue" as example,the objective evidence of the application of the Micro Diaphoresis Method is discussed.To replicate the epidemiological rheumatoid arthritis rat model by replicating exogenous wind and dampness to represent the "damp disease,annoying pain," and to compare the proportions of different ephedra decoctions and techniques in terms of sweat volume,urine output,joint swelling,and immune inflammation.Under the intervention,the changes in the above-mentioned indicators seek objective evidence of "if the rheumatic person sweat slightly,rheumatism is cured".Result1.The application history of TCM Diaphoresis Method from the Pre-Qin Period to the Western Han Dynasty(1)the non-medical literatures from the Pre-Qin Period to the Western Han Dynasty:In the Historical Records Bian Que and Cang Gong Biography there is a case with the method"liquid Decoction fire Qi" to treat the disease of water and qi hiding on the surface.In the case the doctor promotes sweat at the time of summer heat to divert water and qi.In urticaria,neiguan,wind fall,male hernia and other diseases,it is suggested that the amount of sweat should be moderate,sweat should be thorough,and need to avoid cold after sweat.Classic Zhouyi involves the relationship between panic and sweat.Seven Fa consists a kind of psychotherapy to cure disease with Diaphoresis Method and reflects the close relationship between the mind and the sweat.(2)Unearthed Medical Documents:In "Fifty-two Cases" Diaphoresis Method is used to treat rickets,ulcers,skin diseases and others.Herbs and warm cover,heat steaming and other methods are combined to make patients sweat as the response.Astragali combined with alcohol for treating spasms,Scutellaria baicalensis,Baihe mixed with Astragalus membranaceus,for treating blood stasis,peach leaf and hot wine for dry pruritus,embody the application of Diaphoresis Method.In "All Things",the materials such as fritillaria and aconitas are used as the perspiration medicine.the "Typhoid and Cold Four things" found in Juyan slips in the treatment of typhoid disease with perspiration as the effective response,the "hair cold powder"and "typhoid cold party,in the Liushazhui slips are aimed at warm dissipation.The characteristics of its Diaphoresis Method and prescription are close to that of Zhang Zhongjing.(3)Shen Nong's Herbal Classic:Dry ginger,ephedra,onion stems,aconitum can be used for Diaphoresising and have a warm dispersal.The Diaphoresising effect of jujube leaf,mulberry leaf,mango pepper,and wolfberry herb is yet to be further confirmed.(4)Inner Canon of Huangdi:?The body fluid from the generation,delivery,to the excretion to the body surface becomes normal sweat,involving the overall coordination process of the five viscera and four limbs.The source of the formation of body fluid includes the operation function of spleen and stomach etc.The power of body fluid transfer includes the synergistic effect of heart and lung,liver and kidney.The way of body fluid includes tri-Jiao membrane in the blood flow in water circulation,smooth opening in skin the couli.?The causes of abnormal Diaphoresising include exogenous warmness,heat,wind and dampness,as well as emotional disorder,overeating and so on which influence the movement of the Qi of the viscera and lead to the maladjustment of yin and yang and become sweat disease.There are 7 kinds of diseases,including self-sweat,sweatlessness and so on.?Diaphoresis Method includes the following principles.Sweep the couli to give the evil Qi a way out;the disease is from the skin and the timely sweat can make the evil Qi come out from the skin;the positive and evil disputes,the sweat leads the harmonization between Yin and Yang.?Exogenous fever,sores,heat,heavy bone knots and other diseases can be treated by the Diaphoresis Method and Pinellia Decoction uses sweat as the sign of efficacy.Positive sweating is objective sign of harmonization of yin and yang in the body.2.Analysis of the application law of Zhang Zhongjing's Micro-Diaphoresis Method and the interpretation of operating principles(1)From the three aspects of sweating as the treating method,sweating as the efficacy response,and non-sweat proofing,summarize the application laws of the Zhang Zhongjing's Diaphoresis Method including indications,contraindications,and precautions.?When disease is on the surface,Positive Qi and evil Qi fights on the surface.We should sweat and follow the trend,which is the basic rule of treatment.Ephedrine Decoction and cassia twigs Decoction are commonly used.? The application standard of the Diaphoresis Method is "micro sweat.”Those who are weak in Qi,blood and body fluids should wait for harmonization of yin and yang to self-heal and recover,or poromote Qi,blood,and body fluids to be strong for sweating.On the case of the same syndrome on both surface and interior body,attack the crux of Qi and blood barriers,harmonize yin and yang so that the sweat can pass through and the disease can be treated.When the patient's position is deep and the evil Qi is heavy,it is still necessary to pay attention to the trend of Diaphoresis Method.?If surface and interior are both strong and evil Qi is on the surface,sweating should be used.If we fail to achieve this condition,we will sweat if we creat the condition of "exterior and interior are both strong",or wait for the time when the body is "exterior and interior are both strong".Prescription,decocting,sweating,rest,diet,taboos,etc.,even waiting for self-healing,are all aimed at recovering the body's sweat.(2)Combined with clinical practice,we sum up 4 elements of Zhang ZhongJing's Micro Diaphoresis's operation principles,such as "instant","zhizhi","seem" and "rest".? The amount of sweating should be small.The sweat should be fine like drizzle.?Sweating should be all over the body.?Sweating should continue.It should last two hours and can't be stopped at the beginning of sweating.? Sweating should continue slowly and a fierce stop is not permitted.The rest method after sweating is:it should stop when cured and if not,go on.Pay attention to the warm method,to ensure sustained and slight sweating all over the body.3.Application Analysis and empirical research of the Diaphoresis Method on the damp diseases in Jingui Yaolue(1)Though the philological analysis of the symptoms such as "like coating on the tongue","painful annoyance",and "Che painfulness" in Jingui Yaolue,the following conclusions are made.?"like coating on the tongue" means the coating of the tongue is very thin and indicates the disease is superficial."Like coating on the tongue" should indicates there is a thin kind of white and yellow coating of the tongue due to the long term accumulation of "dampness".? In the word "painful annoyance",from the philology perspective "annoyance" means "frequent",which refers to recurrent symptoms of pain.Therefore,"body painful annoyance","bone painful annoyance " and other symptoms refer to recurrent attacks of body or joint pain.?The"Che Painfulness" indicates spasm pain,or pain associated with spasm."Pain like a che" is a joint pain similar to spasm."Pain can not be flexed and extended",that is,limb pain is intense,accompanied by spasticity,limited activity,difficult to flexion and extension,is one of the common symptoms of clinical arthritis patients.(2)Analysis of Micro-Diaphoresis Method on damp diseases in Jingui Yaolue.?Cold,wind and damp diseases cause muscle spasms,joints,bones and other pain symptoms.The location of the disease is on the surface,which is attributed to Yang disease of the body surface disease,treatment must be "slightly like sweating" and drip sweat is not allowed to use.Slightly,slowly,and for a few hours of positive sweat will let the damp diseases go out.?Mahuang Jia Zhu Decoction relieves dampness between tendons;Ma Xing Yi Gan Decoction takes into account dampness and long-lasting moisture within the closed depression;Fang Ji Huang Qi Decoction is used to treat dampness and retention;Guizhi Fuzi Decoction,Baizhu Fuzi Decoction,and Gancao Fuzi Decoction can make the internal and external qi pass,and the damp qi between the bones can be removed.?In addition to the subtle compatibility of prescriptions,we should pay special attention to the methods of sweating and post sweating care because of damp stickiness when we use micro Diaphoresis Method to treat rheumatism.(3)An empirical study on the Micro Diaphoresis Method of damp disease is carried out,which is based on the example of "treat the rheumatic person,sweating,but sweating like a little sweating,rheumatism is removed",which is cited from Jingui Yaolue.?Baizhu can restrict the sweating intensity of Mahuang Jia Zhu Decoction,which is better than Cangzhu.Mahuang Decoction combined with Baizhu has diuretic effect,while compatibility of Cangzhu has no obvious effect on diuresis.?The original dose of Mahuang Decoction combined with Baizhu has moderate sweating volume and has diuretic effect.After the doubling of Mahuang Decoction,the sweat volume and urine volume increase.After the Baizhu dose doubles,the sweat volume decreases and the urine volume increases.?Mahuang Jia Zhu Decoction can effectively inhibit the degree of toe swelling in rats.The original dose of Mahuang decoction combined with Baizhu or compatibility of Cangzhu can reduce the levels of TNF-a,IFN-y,COX-2 and IL-17 in serum of model rats.?The content of IFN-y and IL-17 in the serum of the model rats increased after the dose of Mahuang decoction doubles;and the content of TNF-a,IFN-y and COX-2 in the serum of the model rats increased after the dosage of the Baizhu doubling.It shows that the inhibitory effect on the inflammatory response of the model rats is weakened,after the dose of Mahuang decoction doubles,or the dose of Baizhu doubles.Conclusion(1)The medical experience in the pre Qin period,Sheng Nong's Herbal Classic and Inner Canon of Huangdi,provide the basis on clinical practice,pharmacology,physiology for the improvement of the theory of Zhang Zhongjing's Diaphoresis Method.(2)Zhang Zhong Jing's Diaphoresis Method theory is mainly used for the diseases of positive Qi resisting evil Qi on the surface,and it is Micro Diaphoresis Method which emphasizes the protection of the positive Qi of the human body.It is also a Macro Diaphoresis Method to conform to the body's tendency to adapt to the human body.(3)The textual interpretation on Treatise on Cold Pathogenic and Miscellaneous Disease is hard due to the differences of time.It must be combined with the context and grammar features of Qin and Han Dynasties.(4)As the representative prescription of the method of Zhang Zhongjing's Micro Diaphoresis Method on damp diseases,Mahuang Jia Zhu Decoction can achieve the purpose of"slightly sweat and rheumatism removal",with good match of Mahuang Decoction and Baizhu.
