Back to the 1990s, that means how the 1990s to be "issue". This is not only related to our understanding of the "1990s", but also related to how to understand the current ongoing literary criticism.Generally speaking, the avoidance using the way of studying the archaeology of knowledge type, but to return to the historical site, mainly deals with two problems:one is the relationship between the literary criticism and power,and economic in 1990s, and the second is thinking limitations of critic subject, is from inside and outside two aspects to describe the new change of literary criticism in 1990s, especially changing implicit in the crisis and difficulties.The first chapter mainly discusses the criticism form, feature, the context of the generation of the "academic criticism" in the 1990s, as well as the system of national academic system and criticism. Literary criticism of the university turned out to be two sides at the same time, one is academic criticism in the practical significance, the second is "academic criticism" of the concept of discourse production."Academic criticism" advocating rational, accurate, unique way of narration, which of course is the advantage, but at the same time is also limited. Critics often contact with the system, the specification together, the state in a cooperation project will increasingly standardize the system, this seemingly equal partnership, may be hidden behind ideological appeal, and the words of academic norm and closed pursuit may also become a self-made prison.The second chapter mainly discusses the concept of "the edge" and "the center" of the literary critics in the 1990s. Not only the sense of the edge in the sense of geography and the sense of identity crisis, but also the sense of freedom in the sense of writing. The entanglement in the "edge" and "center" concept, almost like a magic shrouded in this era.Of course, the concept of this group was originally proposed, it is indeed out of the experience and observation of critics, out of the individual in the social space of the description of the location. But gradually, this kind of cognition is widely spread and where many critics into the an unshakable facts and truth as understanding and interpretation of the cause or consequence of all their situation. But it is also very likely to limit critics of its own situation and a way out of the imagination,at the same time, limiting the future criticism breakthrough possible.The third chapter mainly discusses the imagination of "moral" and "spirit" in the 1990s critics. If 1980s is the period of intellectual liberation, then the 1990's is the real social liberation, the public's demand for material and emotional is unprecedented. However in the intellectuals but the rise of the thought of a "moral" and "spirit", from "humanism discussion" to "moral idealism", without exception, "moral" again become tools of social critique. This chapter is mainly on the basis of this sort of ideological trend of thought, the limitations of the critical reflection.The fourth chapter mainly discusses how the literary criticism of the 1990's is subject to the practical logic, which has become a part of the cultural production. "Market" makes all things in the field of criticism-critics, periodicals, criticism, readers and so on changed, and make a certain response and adjustment. Critics became available on the market products, how to become star critic is important; media insights into the public space, they desire to possess reputation and market share and soliciting contributions into the "planning"; as for literary criticism more and more rely on the concept, naming, dialogue and to prove its "power" and "effectiveness".
