The History Of Chinese Environmental Ceramic Art Since 1978

In China,although the ceramic art affects construction of environmental spaces several centuries ago,the concept and attention of environmental ceramic art is just happening in recent decades.This has to do with the development of our culture,politic,and economy.In this paper,I take the development of Chinese environmental ceramic art as the research object since the reform and opening up,which is based on the background of culture,politic and economy in different historical periods.Try to tease out the trendy history of Chinese environmental ceramic art through the analysis of conception,material and form at every stage.Regression and adjustment of our culture policy has occurred since reform and opening up to 1984.At the same time,the birth of the wall painting in Beijing airport 1979 and the keen of domestic fresco laid foundation for the development of environmental ceramic art.But due to limitation of science and technology,Chinese environmental ceramic art is still only the development of craft decoration.The concept of Chinese environmental ceramic art has reformed and sublimated obviously with the cultural exchange and cooperation since 1985.The function and form of ceramic has been further expanded through the experiment of ceramic artists.And the ceramic art is gradually liberated from the pursuit of material to spirit.Unprecedented challenges and opportunities are brought by the rising of social informatization and globalization,continuously improving of science,technology and economy,reforming of people's living space and cultural function,revolution of information and media since 2000.In the article,I will summarize the problems we met during the development of environmental ceramic art through the analysis of these three historical periods.And look to the future under the influence of postmodernism.From continuity to exploration to multivariate,the development of Chinese environmental ceramic art is the result of the transform of Chinese traditional ceramic art in modern society.And it is also confirmed that the development of art does not come without and it is not incidental.All of it is a selfregulation and transform in the distinctive spirit of time.Through the research of development of the environment ceramic art in China since the reform and opening up,we deeply appreciate the eternal truth from 'Zhouyi'--the poor are changed,it will pass,for a long time.We also understand more about the cultural power,realize the great signification of Chinese dream--the great revival of Chinese nation.
