Bohai,which belonged to the Tang Dynasty,is the local minority state in northeast of China.It was established by the sumomohe people.In AD698,the outstanding leader DaZuorong of sumomohe established the “ZHEN” regime.In AD714,the envoy of Tang Dynasty — Cui Xin,engraved stone in Gold Mountain,which commemorates the historical keepsake of Tang Dynasty with DaZuorong.From then on,DaQinmao which is set up from the completely copy of Tang Dynasty,the “HangDongshengGuo” came into the stage of history.Since DaZuorong established his “ZHEN” regime to the year of 926,in which the Khitan was attacked and destroyed by Bohai,lasted 229 years.During the more than 200 years of historical process,the leaders of Bohai Mohe,based on their own traditional local culture,carrying out the open policy,making efforts to study the Tang Dynasty,and combined and absorbed the representative of the advanced culture of the Central Plains with the actual situation of their own.In this process,religion has always been get involved in,in addition to the national natural religion---Shamanism.In the close contact with the Tang Dynasty,Mohe people accepted Confucianism,Buddhism,and Taoism gradually.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,firstly reviews the researches on the domestic and foreign research status as the content of the academic history;secondly comb the research achievements of Bohai Shamanism,Buddhism,Confucianism and Taoism as the literature review;finally,mention the concepts in this article and extend the definitions;The second part is the Bohai Shamanism.First,analyzes the background,characteristics,and how Shamanism came into being by Bohai people and how they accepted it;Secondly,combing the historical process of Sushen family and pointed out that the development of Shamanism,which exists as an intermediate among Wu Ji,Mohe and Jurchen Shamanism;Thirdly,for the worship objects changing from nature worship to ancestor worship,totem worship and classify ancestors and descendants in Bohai from other aspects such as ancient records,archaeological discoveries and the customs;Finally analysis the Shamanism religious rituals from shaman functions,musical instruments,the main activities of the three aspects;At last discusses the influence of Shamanism in the distribution area of Bohai and the faith of social life;The third part is about the Buddhism of Bohai.First the paper will represent the development of Buddhism in the China and how it was imported to Bohai;secondly combing the spread of Buddhism in Bohai,including the stage of development,schools,the priestly class in society and the role of Buddhism's characteristics and historical function;thirdly,summarizes the Buddhism interaction of Bohai.the Tang Dynasty and Japan;At last the Buddhist temple ruins including in Bohai,relics and statues etc was organized.;The fourth part is about the Confucianism and Taoism in Bohai.Firstly,identified the Confucianism as religious belief;and then discusses the development of Confucianism in Bohai,its influence and impact on social life and political life;finally,how Taoism was introduced into Bohai and Bohai people believe in Taoism in specific behavior;The fifth part is the conclusion.Summarized the religious beliefs in Bohai.Through the analysis of,we can get the conclusion that the Bohai religious culture condenses the feudal era of highly developed characteristics of Tang culture.Although it is also influenced by other ethnic groups,it had their own style.In general,it is still a part of the Tang culture.
