Interactive Electronic Music Research

In the course of more than half a century,Electroacoustic Music has been changing and innovating.From the initial pure "Auditory Art",it gradually evolved into "Interactive Electroacoustic Music ",which emphasizes the real-time performance on the stage,and the audio-visual integration.As Akamatsu Masayuki said "Electroacoustic Music can be divided into two categories,real-time and non real-time Electroacoustic Music." By virtue of the interactive technology,Electroacoustic Music has realized very rich stage form,and radiated new vitality vigorous.Interactive Electroacoustic Music has remarkable cross disciplinary characteristics.Its research involves art,science,engineering,communication science and other disciplines.The research contents include the composition and improvisation,programming languages and encoding,human-computer interaction,information retrieval and music perception,digital audio signal processing,digital instrument research and Development Virtual Reality,physical modeling,space and sound algorithm etc.This paper starts from the concept of Interactive Electroacoustic Music,and causes of the evolution of interactive thinking to the source,the classification of the existing interactive electronic music,and to explore the structure of Electroacoustic Music interactive technology in digital environment as the basic starting point,combined with Max/MSP/Jitter interactive program examples and Interactive Electroacoustic Music examples,describes the behavior and performance the interaction mechanism of data forms based on different media,and analyzes the characteristics of each stage of the works and performances.This paper sums up the medium structure of interactive Electroacoustic Music.The comprehensive aesthetics generated by multi media interaction is proposed,which is characterized by multi dimension,wide range of recognition and wide adaptability.It is also pointed out that real-time behavioral control and multi sensory perception are,to some extent,the aesthetic regression of traditional musical forms.While advocating science and rationality,the new artistic vocabulary realized by cross media marriage is more conducive to multi-dimensional artistic expression.
