The power of the social system originates in the genuine agreement of people, while the identity of the social system is not formed spontaneously by people. Education is the important means to realize the identity of social system, which is depended on social system of Chinese characteristics. The significance of identity education is to unite ideology consensus, enhance confidence and strengthen the political belief in social system of Chinese characteristics.In this paper there are three basic concepts including:the social system of Chinese characteristics, its identity and its identity education, which has the close relation with each other. Social system of Chinese characteristics is the content as well as the object of the identity education. Meanwhile, the purpose of identity education is to realize the function of system identity, which in itself is the goal of identity education.The contents of identity education have been diverse from time to time. In the early foundation of new China, identity education was focused on warning Soviet Union patterns, which indicates that the patterns of socialism development depended on specific situations of each country and could not be copied from others exactly. During this period, the government paid more attention to indoctrinate people with the Marxism ideology, proposing that the embodiment of Marxism should be used to educate the mass through mass movements. During the time of Deng Xiaoping, with the development of the establishment of social system of Chinese characteristics, the core principle of identity education was the necessity and rationality of a socialism system with Chinese characteristics, which emphasized the attribute of socialism, guided by the economic performance system and the dialectical system. In nowadays, identity education of socialism system of Chinese characteristics focuses on the systematicness, nationality and times.The formation of social system identity is the result of the interaction between the subject, the object and external environment of the social system. The condition of the subject, the performance of the object and the environmental factors may influence the identity results. The current impediments to identity education are mainly including the misleading of public opinion from the western capitalist countries, the interference of the ideology of "Westernization" and "Differentiation" and the fundamental contradiction of the capitalism. In addition, some erroneous ideas from other countries and some troubles resulted from dealing with the relationship between city and countryside, justice and productivity, tool rationality and value rationality, are all the factors that may influence social system identity.All those impediments are the real elements which should be identity education could be constructed from four dimensions, such as system scientificity, system features, system value and system emotion, It focuses on why it is able to identity,with the aim to overcome the above mentioned impediments and implement the goal of identity education.The effective implementation of identity education should be start from those five aspects. Firstly, we should pay more attention on the history education of socialism system of Chinese characteristics, illustrate the inevitability and the scientificity of the system formation. Secondly, we should improve the theoretical education, which would provide the basis of the identity education and bring the additive effects of theoretical identity and systematical identity. Thirdly, we should continue to focus on the practical results education, identity system could be evaluated by the vest interest, which can also provide the evidence for the system identity. Fourthly, it is about comparative advantage education that means to use comparative method to illustrate that the system features and the system values are the advantages of the socialism system of Chinese characteristics compared to the capitalism system. The illustration of comparative advantage can promote the people's confidence and emotion about the system. Finally, it is important to make a good use of mass media guidance. Some effective measures would be implemented by strengthening the role of media, propagate the positive thoughts, opposing the wrong idea, exposing the conspiracy made by western countries, innovating public opinion channel, maintaining the predominance of words and thoughts, and forming a favorable condition for the mass media.
