Research On The Issues In Conservation-minded Society Construction In Contemporary China

With the new situation appears,the Party Central Committee and the State Council made building a conservation-minded society a major strategy.This strategy was brought forward in the context of economic globalization and in the process of promoting China's industrialization and modernization.The decision was also made based on our national conditions and summary of the experiences of domestic and foreign modernization construction.Thirty years of reform and opening up,China has experienced rapid economic and social development,comprehensive national strength growth and the continuous improvement of people's living standards.However,due to China's large population,the resources per capita is still quite low.During this critical stage of simultaneous development of industrialization,informatization,urbanization,agricultural modernization,all kinds of resources and energy consumption have increased rapidly.Therefore,accelerating the construction of a conservation-minded society and releasing the pressures of resources consumption and environmental pollution are quite necessary.In the history of Marxism,Marx's discussion of conservation is the most scientific one compared to others in theory.Marxism states that the essence of conservation is the development of social productive forces.In Chinese history,conservation was considered as an ethic,which has been being promoted as a high moral dimension.Conservation mind has been a very important element in the history of the Communist Party of China.Communist Party of China inherited the traditional Chinese idea of conservation and has given conservation new era of content by combining the Marxist concept of conservation and China's reality.During the process of leading China's revolution,construction and reformation,the three generations of the leaders of the CPC,put forward a series of ideas about conservation.Not only has they left us a precious spiritual wealth,but also set the solid theoretical foundation for the major strategic decision to form a conservation-minded society.Study the thoughts of Chinese Communist Party's conservation combined with China's current national conditions as a whole,it has significant theoretical importance to build a conservation-minded society of Chinese socialism characteristics.From a practical perspective,the construction of a conservation-minded society is large and complex systematic project,involving the government,enterprises and individuals subjects,affected by many factors such as policies,systems,structures,domestic and international environment.As known the proposal and development process of construction of a conservation-minded society,the party and state leaders have shown the close attention to this matter.However,Rome was not built in a day.After setting tasks and goals to build a conservation-minded society of that,due to the interference and influence of many constraints,the process is currently facing many social contradictions and conflicts of interest.For example,although the CPC Central Committee and State Council has long proposal to transform the economic growth model and all localities and departments have also made the effort,but for various reasons,the problem has not been fundamentally resolved.China's unit GDP energy,raw materials,and water consumption are still much higher than the world average.At the same time,waste consumption is also very serious.Especially luxury pleasure and extravagance phenomenon among some party members and cadres have aroused strong resentment among the people.In view of this,it is more and more important and urgent to advocate the spirit of conservation in the whole of society.It is quite necessary to study the method,mechanisms and target model of building a conservation-minded society.This article conducted a systematic study and discussion on the issues related to contemporary conservation-minded society of China.It consists of introduction,five chapters,and conclusion.Specific contents are as follows:The introduction discusses the background and significance of this topic.Based on combing the relevant literature,the study describes the current situation of domestic and foreign scholars of this topic and introduces the research,research methods,and innovation effort.The first chapter discusses connotation and characteristic of conservation-minded society.On the basis of systematical study of the relevant conservation-minded society theory,the article elaborates the necessity of building a conservation-minded society and focuses on the background and significance.The second chapter studies the construction of a conservation-minded society from the perspective of unity of history and reality.It studies traditional Chinese conservation theory,Marx's theory of conservation and the Communist Party of China conservation theory,from which to summarize the contemporary value.The third chapter discusses the western conservation theory and successful experience of conserving resources and protecting the ecological environment in foreign countries.It seeks to find useful implication for establishing a conservation-minded society from foreign theory and empirical experiences.The fourth chapter investigates the practice of building a conservation-minded society.It finds obstacles encountered in the development and the future challenges by analyzing the successful experience of the construction of a conservation-minded society in the hope of finding a further solution to the problem.Chapter five chapter sets forth the goal model of building a conservation-minded society,and an effective way and further policy measures based on the theoretical and practical analysis of the issues of building a conservation-minded society in the previous chapters.In the conclusion section,the paper discusses that building a conservation-minded society requires to improve the efficiency of resource use in the various aspects of economic and social development,and push the building process from multi angles and positions.
