The Study On The Responsibility Education Of The Youth

The youth are the most vigorous,creative,and energetic social group.They are the future of the country,the nation,the party and the people.They are an essential force for building a modern socialist country and revival the Chinese nation.Therefore,the youth shoulder great and tough responsibilities.Their ideological and moral state,their awareness and ability to take responsibilities,have great stake in the overall quality,the future and the destiny of our nation.During the historical process of building a moderately prosperous society,upholding and developing the socialistic road with Chinese characteristics,and realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,it is of strategic significance to cultivate qualified candidates for developing socialism by strengthening their sense of responsibility,bringing home to them the historic missions and obligations of the times they are undertaking,and encouraging them to take the initiative to fulfill their responsibilities.This dissertation will build upon the analysis of the definition,characteristics,and values of “responsibility”;and the definition,age range and main features of “the youth”.It will assess the characteristics of times of the youth in modern time and the current conditions of how they take their responsibility.It will elaborate the strategic significance of responsibility education of the youth from the following points of view:realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejunvenation of the Chinese nation;putting forward cordanately the “Four Comprehensives” strategic blueprint;cultivating and practicing the socialist core values;and the practical demanding of comprehensively enhancing the sense of responsibility of the youth.The theoretical basis and intellectural resources will also be generalized.Combining with the needs of our time and the formation and developing law of the ideological and moral education of the youth,the dissertation further concentrates and discusses objectives and principles;contents,approaches and methods,the construction of organization,mechanism and social environment.The objectives of responsibility education of the youth are to enhance the awareness of responsibility,temper the will of responsibility,shape the habit of responsible behavior and finally promote the responsible character of the youth.Its theoretical basis falls back on the thoughts about responsibility of Marx,Engels,Lenin;and the theories and viewpoints of the Communist Party of China on the youth and its education.The responsibility and related educational thoughts in traditional Chinese culture,together with the theories and experimental experiences of education of responsibility in the developed countries in the West provided abundant ideological resources for responsibility education of the youth.They are worthy of reference and can be absorbed critically.Responsibility education of the youth contains the responsibility to the self and family,others and society,country and nation,and even the responsibility to human beings and nature.It is an organic system radiating from oneself to others,from the inside to outside,and from far to near.The principles governing responsibility education of the youth are subjectivity,heirarchy,pertinence,grounded in reality and long-term adherence.The responsibility education of the youth can be completed through self-education and education of family,school,work units as well as the society.Each can interact,coordinate,and cooperate with one another.These ways should interact,inter-coordinate,mutual promote with each other and make their differences together.Responsibility education of the youth should take into consideration the age character and practical thoughts of the youth.The educational methods can be variable and flexible,such as theoretical education,practice,model demonstration,emotional edification,and incentive and punishments mechanism.Responsibility education of the youth should also pay attention to the organizational mechanism,enhance and improve the guide of the Communist Party of China,construct an all-round education networks.It also needs the full play of the youth organizations themselves.It is necessary to lay emphasis on the construction of the ideological and moral environment,the policies and strategies environment,and the social consensus environment to create a sound environment.
