Research On The Interpretation History Of Das Kapital,Volume ?

The Das Kapital is one of the most important works of Marx?and Engels?after the Marxism came out publicly in 1848.It was initially published in 1867.And the article titled Da Tong Xue published in A Review of the Times,a periodical of China,in 1899opened the way for spreading of Das Kapital,the Marxism classics in China.During the revolution and construction course of China,advanced figures of China continuously understand and interpret Das Kapital and form a history of interpretation of Das Kapital in China.It is not only a development history of localization,modernization and popularization of Marxism in China but also a history of struggles of revolution and construction by Chinese people for the purpose of saving the nation in peril and realizing national rejuvenation under the guidance of fundamental principles of Das Kapital.Making a general survey of interpretation history of Das Kapital in China,it can be concluded that it can roughly divided into three stages:the first stage is from introduction of Das Kapital into China in 1899 to the founding of new China,which can be known as the stage of“politic-economics”interpretation Paradigm;the second stage is from founding of new China in 1949 to convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 11^th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party,which can be known as the stage of“theoretical philosophy-economics”interpretation Paradigm;the third stage is from convening of the Third Plenary Session of the 11^th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party in 1978 till now,which can be known as the stage of“practical philosophy-economics”interpretation Paradigm.In the first stage,i.e.the stage of“politic-economics”interpretation Paradigm,interpretation of Das Kapital was conducted surrounding the topic of“saving our nation from subjugation and ensuring is survival”.The bourgeoisie reformists,revolutionaries and proletarian revolutionaries,starting from their own stand,all looked for theoretical foundation for their own political views from understanding of fragmentary introduction,translation and main theories of Das Kapital to study of the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society and new democracy society of China from the stand,viewpoint and methods of application of Das Kapital.Among them,the Chinese communist party members gradually made clear the nature,object,task and future of Chinese revolution through interpretation of Das Kapital and provided powerful ideological weapons for formulation of line,guideline and policy for new-democratic revolution.Therefore,in this stage,the Das Kapital was not regarded as a classic text for academic research.Different classes interpreted it not for the purpose of pure theoretical research but for serving class interests and political needs.It is essentially a kind of“politic-economics”interpretation Paradigm.This interpretation Paradigm is characterized by humanistic pragmatism,pan-politicalization and each taking what he needs.The interpretation Paradigm plays an important role as the theoretical guidance in driving victory of Chinese revolution and completing the great historical mission of national liberation and national independence.However,confined by the era conditions at that time,the interpretation Paradigms also have shortcomings such as research on the theory itself is insufficient or the research is not deep enough,which splits unity of revolutionary character and scientificity of Das Kapital.In the second stage,i.e.the stage of“theoretical philosophy-economics”interpretation patter,the historical mission of saving our nation from subjugation and ensuring its survival of the Chinese nation has been finished.Positioning of Das Kapital in China changed into“science for construction”from the“weapon of revolution”.During this stage,the revision and amendment of Chinese translation of Das Kapital and retranslation of it were almost completed;popular books for publicity,narration and annotation of Das Kapital came out in succession;debates on academic issues of research object,research method,labor theory of value,theory of surplus value and capital accumulation theory became alive for a time.In order to accommodate to the policy of“leaning to one side”and learning the economic construction experiences of the Soviet Union,China,in this stage,translated and published the popular books for interpretation of Das Kapital and works for academic research of the Soviet Union.Moreover,the research contents,research methods and academic orientation of Das Kapital all bore the stamp of the Soviet Union.What is common of different interpretations in this stage is directly facing the historical classic texts,digging the general and universal principles of Das Kapital through understanding the meaning of the text and original intention of the author and,by applying those principles,getting to know and solving theoretical and practical problems existed in socialist economic construction of China.Understanding and explanation of meanings of the classic texts and original intention of classic author from a historical dimension and by translating,popular explanation,debates on academic issues and other interpretation Paradigms is essentially an interpretation Paradigm of“theoretical philosophy-economics”.The interpretation Paradigm is characterized by back to classic,pursuit of truth and common ground and one-way following.Understanding and interpretation of Das Kapital under the interpretation Paradigm adheres to Marxism but ignores the particular hermeneutics situation of the interpreter and fails to combine the universality of fundamental principles of Das Kapital with concrete and practical problems confronted by China at present.So it has a tendency of dogmatism or bookishness and fails to start the era significance of classic texts.In the third stage,i.e.the stage of“practical philosophy-economics”interpretation Paradigm,through introspection of experience and lessons of socialist construction and research on Das Kapital in the past,the interpreters gradually realized that understanding and interpretation of Das Kapital should not remain in mastering of its universal principles and the universal principles should be combined with concrete and practical problems of China at present.The era significance of classic texts should be started on the basis of adhering to and inheriting labor theory of value,theory of surplus value and capital accumulation theory of Marx.In this stage,the interpretation Paradigm of“practical philosophy-economics”acting as deepening and complementary form of the“theoretical philosophy-economics”interpretation Paradigm gradually took shape.The interpretation Paradigm of“practical philosophy-economics”is characterized by introspection of reality,creation of significance and mutual pouring out.Under the interpretation Paradigm,goal orientation of understanding and explanation of Das Kapital gradually changes into combining reality of China and staring new meanings of the text from facing the historical text and pursuit of original meaning of the author;with regard to focus of understanding,it pays more attention to value judgement instead of factual consideration;In terms of understanding process,it changes into“fusion of horizons”from“shift of horizons”.The change means that Chinese research on Das Kapital has changed into“making progress in change”from“repeating what the book said”,which starts research on Das Kapital with characteristics of contemporary China.The“practical philosophy-economics”interpretation Paradigm adapts to the realistic requirements of development of the career of building socialism with Chinese characteristics after the reform and opening-up and complies with the theoretical spirit of unity of theoretical philosophy and practical philosophy.In conclusion,the interpretation history of Das Kapital of China cannot be simply regarded as pure text interpretation history.It can be said that it reflects the history of Chinese democratic revolution,socialist revolution and socialist construction by means of text interpretation.Sorting out and analysis of the interpretation history of Das Kapital can help us in many aspects.For examples,it helps us to have a deep understanding of the course of translation,introduction and spreading of Das Kapital the great classic work in the Chinese society;it helps us to have a correct understanding and reasonable interpretation of Das Kapital the great classic work;moreover,it helps us to find and expand the guidance significance of understanding and interpretation of the classic Marxism work in building of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and moreover it facilitates building of the socialism economic theory with Chinese characteristics based on the universal principles of Das Kapital and by combining practices of socialism with characteristics of contemporary China.
