and "bottom most experience”drawn based on the summary of the Party's history."Resolution on Certain Historical Issues of the CPC”(hereinafter referred to as "The Historical Resolution”)is an empirical summary and rational reflection by the Chinese Communist Party of its own history at a significant point of the "history" of Localization of Marxism in China,embodying an important ideological sublimation of Chinese Communists' "knowledge”of Localization of Marxism in China,containing the dual implication of "taking history as a mirror" and"turning knowledge into wisdom",and accumulating valuable experience and laying a solid foundation for the application and development of Marxism in China.Yet there's a lack of systematic studies on "The Historical Resolution" and other works on Localization of Marxism in China.Since its inception the CPC has been exploring Localization of Marxism in China in order to accomplish the historical missions of modernization drive and national rejuvenation.This process is necessarily filled with tests of success and failure as well as struggles between right and wrong.But lessons from success and failure both contribute to the "growth" of ideas and understandings.Only in the presence of both positive and negative experiences will the Party be able to discern between right and wrong and between the true and the false,and then to insist on and defend the correct ideological and theoretical direction.The reason why the CPC has been firmly and consciously promoting Localization of Marxism in China is precisely that it has achieved numerous ideological improvements and sublimations on the basis of changing practice and summary of historical experience.Drawing lessons from history,summarizing and applying historical experience and finding the right direction and path forward in the updating knowledge and grasp of historical laws are a major reason for the continuous success of the Party's leadership.“The Historical Resolution" was a scientific example of the party's historical experience,which formed on the basis of the important historical node of the process of Localization ofMarxism in China-The Yan,an Rectification Movement.It was also a huge innovation achieved in the enhancement of the Party's ideological and theoretical development."The Historical Resolution" responded to the needs of China's revolutionary development and the inherent need to promote Localization of Marxism in China at the historical turning point of the upcoming victory of the Anti-Japanese War and the tough decision between "two futures",reflecting the increasingly explicit theoretical consciousness of the CPC.The correct ideological line is the "lifeline" for Localization of Marxism in China.The CPC believes that the Party's history is the history of constant practice of Marxism.By studying its own history and summarizing historical experience,the Party can get to the root of all ideas and trends,and know more clearly about the correct combination of Marxism with Chinese practice,that is,the correct ideological line.“The Historical Resolution" solved "the historical problem" was the Leadership line issues at the the period before the fourth plenary session of the sixth plenary session of 1931 to the Zunyi Conference in 1935.Fundamentally,this problem is the question of the Party's ideological line.It was based on the practice essence of Marxism that "The Historical Resolution" lies in its systematic summary and critical review of the 24 years of history since the Party's founding with "history is the best textbook" as the basic idea,and with Localization of Marxism in China as the basic clue.In examining the"past failures",clarifying the "right and wrong of the line" and analyzing the "source of error",it get rid of the dogmatism and established the ideological line of seeking truth from facts,and to fundamentally answer the question of "how to recognize
