A Study On The Social Justice And Rights Protection Of The Weak During The Transitional Period

With the in-depth promotion of the market economy and the social transformation acceleration in China,the social interest pattern is undergoing a profound adjustment,the class diversity appears in the society,and the gap between the rich and poor is increasing,and the poverty for social rights of the weak highlights increasingly.As is known to all,the pursuit and realization of social justice is not only the inherent requirement of the socialism with Chinese characteristics,but also the major task of developing the socialism with Chinese characteristics.The social justice puts forward the realistic subject that rights of the weak should be protected since the rights protection for the weak is the important aspect of promoting social justice.Therefore,how to improve the rights protection of the weak in China's social transition to promote the realization of social justice has become the important subject concerning the social health development of China's economy.The realization of rights protection for the weak must adhere to the Marxism v:iew of justice as the guidance,and the reasonable ideas and positive results of the idea of justice in the western world should be referred,discarded and absorbed,in order to better promote the practice of rights protection for the weak during our social transitional period of time.This paper mainly discusses the major problems in the process of rights protection for the weak in social transitional period of time.The problems include the following:the weakening in the rights,inequality in the opportunity,inequality in the profit distribution,and growth in the weak mentality for the weak.The paper deeply analyzes the causes and roots of the problems from the development concept,system,governance according to laws and cultural environment.Finally,the paper focuses on the path for rights protection of the weak from the transformation of development ideas,the realization of system justice,governance according to laws and the construction of harmonious society,and proposes measures and strategies to solve the rights protection of the weak.In addition,as a case study of landless farmers' rights protection of Feng Qiao District in Suzhou High-tech Zone,the paper empirically discusses the practice and innovative approaches and experience and inspiration in protecting the rights of landless farmers in the District,which will provide some practical support for theoretical research on rights protection of the weak during the transition.
