Research On Strictly Enforcing Political Discipline Of The Chinese Communist Party Since The Party's 18^th National Congress

Since the 18^th National Congress of the CPC,Party building has experienced lots of challenges with various new historical features and ruling environment.The leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China headed by General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to strictly enforce political discipline with problem-oriented view to the Party's continuous development,political necessity of strengthening leadership of the Party and essential requirement of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation,which promotes related theories and practice about political discipline of the Communist Party of China and provides historical reform for the Party and the Nation's development.After scientifically summarizing the experience of the Party's management and governance,the leadership of the Central Committee of Communist Party of China puts forward that political building of the Party should be defined as a crucial part of the Party building in the Report of the Party's 19^th National Congress,in which they also make some strategies about enhancing political discipline in the process of the Party's political building.Meanwhile,they stress that the whole Party should obey the Party central committee,maintain its central authority,and the Party's centralized and unified leadership is the primary task in the political building in the new era.Besides they emphasize that the Party's building should be on the basis of the ideals and beliefs,prior to political building,and guaranteed by corresponding institutional building.Those statements in this report specify a great mission in the new era for strictly enforcing the Party's political discipline.Strictly enforcing political discipline is to apply a variety of ideological,political education methods and institutional constraints within the Party to promote the process of achieving continuous improvement of political disciplinary awareness and fulfilling political discipline requirements for all Party members.Strictly enforcing political discipline is the consistently excellent tradition and strong political advantage formed by the Chinese Communist Party in its long-term leadership of the Chinese revolution,building,and reform.Strictly enforcing political discipline is also the inevitable requirements for coping with various challenges and completing missions in the new situation and the new era.Since the 18^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the strict political discipline study of the Communist Party of China has its roots in deepening the actual needs of the Party's building theory and achieving the requirements of practical development.It not only theoretically promotes the theoretical innovation of strict political discipline,explores the inherent regulations and historical logic,but also improves the scientific level of the Party's building.At the same time,it is conducive to enhancing the effectiveness of political discipline education in practice,effectively responding to the risks and challenges in the process of governing and managing the Party,promoting the development of the Party's political building without a hitch,safeguarding the leading core of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation.This study insists on applying Marxist standpoints and methods to conduct research work.It follows the socialist ideology of Chinese characteristics with a new era in Xi Jinping with adequately considering requirements from the Party and Chinese People.This study adopts to a literature research method with unified approach to history and logic,combining with the methods of interdisciplinary research and case analysis.This study explores the inherent regulations and historical inevitability of the CPC's strict political discipline's theoretical logic,historical logic,and the practical logic since the 18^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in order to clarify the development direction of the new era.This study is based on the ideologically political nature of strict political discipline and the provisions of the party's laws and regulations.It excavates the important value of strict political discipline from the concept and nature of political discipline.It grasps the substantive connotation of strict political discipline with the four elements including political direction,political stance,political rules,political speech and behavior.The study expounds the requirements of strict political discipline that the Party Cadres must keep the same pace with the Party in the three dimensions of ideology,politics,words and deeds.The study refines strict political discipline's internal logic in the four dimensions including the Party's basic theory,historical mission,time requirements and practice development.And the study develops an analysis framework in those four dimensions above.This study mainly focuses on the following aspects:first,through in-depth analysis of the theoretical basis and historical practice of strict political discipline of our Party at different historical stages of development,it outlines the ideal status and the real situation of strictly observing political discipline,and it refines the inherent laws and historical inevitability of strict political discipline.Thus,the misunderstandings and ideological perplexities concerning strict political discipline would be clarified.Secondly,the significance of strict political discipline for the success of the Party building and development of people's life has triggers our reflection on strict political discipline in the new situation and the new era.Now,we are approaching to the goal of realizing the Chinese Nation's great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream,but on the other hand the whole Party faces different challenges such as globalization,economic marketization,information networking,formal institutionalization,and the Party's complex conditions.The Party still suffers from thorny problems including corruption,lack of political consciousness,loose discipline,and lack of political rules.Those problems are rooted in the vacillation of the ideals and beliefs of some Party members and cadres,which will cause the unity of the party and the authority of the central authorities to be destroyed and the political ecosystem of the Party to be polluted.Ultimately,this will inevitably endanger the cause of the Party and the people.Having reviewed the history and observing the reality,the new leadership of the Party Central Committee since the 18^th National Congress of CPC carried out a comprehensive innovation in the theory,system,and practice of strict political discipline,and achieved all-round historic achievements for the cause of the Party and the people.Furthermore,historical changes have made historic contributions.Finally,guided by the spirit of the Party's 19^th National Congress,and on the basis of new experience and achievements of the Party's management since the 18^th National Congress of CPC,continuously strengthening education,constantly optimizing the environment,further deepening system building,and persistently enforcing the executive force of institution should be the necessary path to promote political discipline strictly after the 19^th National Congress of CPC.
