On The Value Of College Students' Community

College students' community is a valuable research topic. With the development of domestic higher education, more and more people raised the awareness of college students' community in the field of education in colleges, and pay more attention to the construction of college students' community. However, there search on the value of college students' community was few and unsystematic, they are nearly without any exploration on the essence of college students' community. Therefore, based on the college education system under the backdrop of the popularization of higher education, this paper teased out the origin, emergence and development process of the college students' community, starting from the college students' community and its value category, using the value target of college students' community as the main line, focusing on exploring and searching the value contradiction of college students' community and the tactics to resolve the value contradiction, trying to explain " what is the value of college students' community for what" in some degree.First of all, this paper teased out the more than 300 years' development history of college students' community, exploring the origin, the emergence and the development process of the college students' community. Student associations, guilds and groups in the medieval ages of Europe can be the earliest form of today's students' clubs, however, these associations prototype is not as same as the college students' community in the modern sense. The real college students' community is produced after the college turning into students' life circle, and a kind of student subculture was produced and the college was affected. Later, because of the college students' study life demand, overall development of higher education and social influence on college and college students, the college students' community was developed rapidly, with the development of higher education.The value relation and the value pursuit of college students' community is one of the key research contents of this study. This paper studied from the perspective of value relation theory, analyzed the value subject, value object, and their relationships of the college students' community, and thinked the value of college students'community as follows:the relationships between human and the community activities, the association culture and campus culture which produced by activities, and the community activities and culture as the object whether meet the needs of the human as the subject. The value pursuit of college students'community belongs to the spiritual value which mainly include entertainment value, education value and aesthetic value.The paper also discusses the value target of college students'community and the ways how to achieve this target. Shaping college students'sound personality, cultivating college students'ability of democracy, stimulating students'interests in major study, promoting students'specialty, cultivating students'innovation spirit, and improving the mental health of college students are the main value targets of college students' community. The six aspects were mutual penetration, mutual dependence and mutual promotion. They were unified essentially, which united in the inherent and objective demands of the subject of college society value, and in the extrinsic and actual existences of the object of college society value. The value target of college students'community is the starting point of college society value as well as the end point, is task which need to be finished by the subject and object together. The value target of college students'community is studying the functions, significances and influences of college students'community to value subject, and the realization of the value target is completing some functions, significances and influences of value object of college students' community to value subject.This paper believed that the value contradictions of college students' community mainly expressed in two aspects, one was the value principal contradiction of college students'community, and the other one was the values conflict of college students' community. The main factors which affected the value contradiction were the demands of the value subject of college students' community and the diversity of values, and the realization of the value target of college students' community was influenced by the value contradictions of college society. Resolving the value contradiction was still facing many practical difficulties, but, based on certain principles and through the effective guidance and management of college and the college students' community's own governance as well as social guidance, there has a path which can resolve the value contradiction of the college students' community.
