Research On The Social Problems In The Development Of Wushu

Since the founding of People's Republic of China,there are tremendous changes in China's politics,economy,culture and other aspects.Chinese society is undergoing unprecedented changes.It mainly manifested in the following aspects: the transformation from traditional agricultural society to modern industrial society,closed traditional society to open information society,highly centralized planned economy to market economy,and totalistic society to individual society.Along with the social transformation and system transition,social structure,economic structure,cultural form and other aspects are in the process of constant adjustments.Therefore it's prone to cause social problems such as imbalance of social relations and anomie of social behaviors.Chinese Wushu also causes some social problems in this process and affects its development in modern society.In this context,we should treat Wushu as social cultural phenomenon and be in the background of social transition.The author uses methods of literature review,expert interviews,logic analysis and text analysis from the perspective of social transition to analyze social problems in the development of Chinese Wushu.The conclusions are as follows:Firstly,the contemporary Chinese society is facing a profound and sophisticated transformation.It mainly manifested in the following aspects: the changes of social formation,adjustments of social structure,conflicts of value and changes of social system.Therefore the development of Chinese Wushu has incurred transitional,structural,conceptual and systematic social problems.Secondly,with the transition of social formation,Chinese Wushu faces the problem of losing the boxing type in its development.With the transformation from clan organization of the local society to modern social group,traditional patriarchal ethics to modern contract system,traditional concept of hierarchy has been replaced by the modern concept of democracy and equality.The heritage of social groups should be given more attention in Chinese Wushu's boxing type,besides we should also establish modern contract rules,shape democratic and equal relationship between teachers and students and promote modern heritage of Chinese Wushu.Thirdly,the adjustment of social structure incurs space squeezing problems to the development of Chinese Wushu.With the reduction of family size,change of urban and rural structures and improvement of urbanization rate,traditional Chinese Wushu should shift from family to society,from village to city.Fourthly,the conflicts of value incur some negative effects in the dissemination of Chinese Wushu,such as deviant behaviors,cultural alienation and media violence.So dissemination of Chinese Wushu should stick to cultural subjectivity,promote the cultural innovation,avoid the vulgarity of culture and transmit positivity of culture so as to promote the sound development of Chinese Wushu.Finally,the transition of social systems incurs the imbalance to the development of Chinese Wushu.Under the influence of contemporary national system,policy,social environment,resource allocation and cultural capital,Chinese Wushu undergoes the overall development stage before the reform and opening up policy,competitive Wushu and school Wushu continue to develop while traditional Wushu falls into silence and Chinese Wushu falls behind on the whole.After the reform and opening up policy,competitive Wushu develops fast,school Wushu develops slowly and traditional Wushu develops freely.Therefore,we should pay attention to traditional Wushu,focus on school Wushu and guide competitive Wushu reasonably.They are the future trend for the development of Chinese Wushu.
